Good evening, kind friends and brethren present here in Leme, San Pablo, Brazil. It is a great privilege and blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, to share a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.
For which I want to read in John, chapter 5, verses 17 and on, where Jesus Christ Himself tells us:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
“THE SON WORKING AS THE FATHER SHOWS HIM.” That is our subject for this occasion.
We find Jesus Christ, the Son of God, working as the Father showed Him. And what were the things that Jesus Christ was doing? He was carrying out the work that the heavenly Father said He would carry out at that time.
The heavenly Father said that He would send the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed One; and with the presence of Jesus in the midst of the Hebrew people, Jesus Christ was fulfilling that promise; for Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was working as the Father showed Him.
That is why we can see in Luke, chapter 4, where Jesus read, taking the book of the prophet Isaiah, which was given to Him; and this happened in Nazareth at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. It says, chapter 4, verse 14 and on, of Luke:
“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
The Scripture of the man anointed with the Spirit of God, whom God would send, which would be the Messiah, was being fulfilled; and the heavenly Father in the Scripture showed the things that man would do in His Coming. And Jesus Christ did all these things in His Coming; up to where He read, He fulfilled up to there; because the rest, where it says: “and the day of vengeance of our God…,”1 would be to be preached, not at the First Coming of Christ, but at the Second Coming of Christ; for after the preaching of the day of vengeance of our God, there will come the vengeance of our God, which is the great tribulation, where divine judgment will fall upon the human race.
Now, we can see why Jesus read up to the place He read: because He would fulfill up to there in His First Coming.
He did what the heavenly Father showed Him; and He, doing what the heavenly Father showed Him, carried out the Work of God relevant to that time, the Messianic Work; and He came with the Messianic Message and Messianic manifestation of the First Coming of the Messiah.
And who was Jesus Christ? Physically, a construction worker. Wasn’t He a carpenter? Of course He was a carpenter in Nazareth. The great promises of the First Coming of Christ were being fulfilled in a construction worker.
Now, who was in that simple man? The greatest figure in the universe and on Earth: The Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, who delivered the Hebrew people and led them to the Promised Land. The Angel of the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, was within that veil of flesh, manifesting Himself in the fulfillment of His First Coming in the midst of human beings clothed in human flesh.
And in order for Him to come in the midst of human beings manifested in all His fullness clothed in human flesh, He had to create a body of flesh in Mary’s womb. Why? Because with the blood of the little animals that the Hebrew people offered to God, sin was not removed: It was only covered. Therefore, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, couldn’t manifest Himself in all His fullness in a body of flesh that had sin, even if sin was covered with the blood of those little animals.
He had had manifestations in human flesh in His Old Testament prophets, but He wanted to manifest Himself among human beings and be one of the human beings!
And for that visit He couldn’t use a veil of flesh born through the union of a man and a woman. But according to the divine promise of Genesis, chapter 3, verse 15, He had to come through a woman: He would be the seed of the woman; that seed would be the one to bruise the devil on the head.
Therefore, in the Divine Program there was a woman chosen by God since before the foundation of the world for that purpose2; and God created in Mary’s womb a cell of life, which multiplied cell upon cell, and thus was formed —by divine creation— the body of Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem of Judea, according to the promise; because He had to come as a descendant of King David.
And that is why the woman, the virgin, through whom the Messiah would come, through whom the Messiah would be born, had to be a descendant of King David. That woman or virgin of whom the prophet Isaiah spoke in chapter 7 and verse 14, notice, she had to be a descendant of the Hebrew people, and even more: she had to be a descendant of King David. Isaiah says, chapter 7, verse 14:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Immanuel means: God with us).”3
The virgin who would have that child, would have the Coming of God in human flesh, in that little body that would be born of her.
Now, that would fulfill the divine promise of Genesis, chapter 3, verse 15: the seed of the woman, which would be the Messiah, the child that would be born. See how since Genesis God is already speaking of that child to be born, which would be the Messiah in His First Coming; and He is saying that He has to come through a virgin woman.
And now, through the prophet Isaiah, He is showing that this virgin must be of the Hebrew people.
As time went on, God gave more light through His sent prophets concerning the coming of the Messiah.
And now, when the time for the Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled, there was a prophecy that said that a star would come out of Jacob: Numbers, chapter 24, verse 17. Although it was given by the prophet Balaam, that was the Word of God that had been placed in the mouth of the prophet Balaam; although he was a false prophet, in the sense that he in his soul was not a seed of God; and he liked money; and he used the ministry to get money and fame, instead of using his ministry in favor of the Hebrew people and tell the prophet Moses: “Moses, I am by your side. I want to serve you and the Hebrew people in all that you need me.”
That was the right way for the prophet Balaam to do; but he didn’t do it that way. Although God forbade him to curse the people, for He said to him: “Don’t curse the people, for the people are blessed.”4 And Balaam dared not curse the people, but blessed them when he spoke of the people in the prophecies which he spoke. But when he gave the advice to king Balak, so as not to lose the reward he had been offered, the advice hurt the Hebrew people and the prophet Moses. Balaam knew that the Hebrew people couldn’t be cursed by another man, even if he was another prophet, because any curse he put on the Hebrew people would come back to him.
And now, Balaam knew that if the Hebrew people turned away from God and became an idolatrous and sinful people, then —since the wages of sin is death5— divine judgment would come upon the Hebrew people; and he gave advice to Balak to hold those pagan feasts and invite the Hebrew people, so that the Hebrew people would get drunk and worship idols and commit adultery, and marry people of other nations, pagan, idolatrous people; and so king Balak did, and the wrath of God came upon the Hebrew people, and thousands of people died.
Now, you see, when Moses then entered with the army into the territory of Madian (or Midian) they killed the people of those territories, which were confederated, and among them Balaam died.6 He could have been a blessing for the Hebrew people and for Moses, but he didn’t yield: he didn’t place himself at the disposition of Moses, who was a dispensational prophet.
And when God sends a dispensational prophet to Earth, it doesn’t matter what ministry anyone else has: he is called to be subject to that ministry.
Every other ministry in the midst of the Hebrew people, or in the midst of any other nation, had to be subject to the ministry of Moses, because he was a dispensational prophet. As it was in Noah’s time: every ministry had to be subject to Noah’s; and those who were not subject to Noah’s, what happened? The flood came and took them away, and only Noah and his family survived.
Now, when God sends a dispensational prophet to Earth, He has sent the greatest kind of prophet He can send.
God has many prophets and has sent many prophets, but He has very few dispensational prophets. Do you know how many He has? Only seven prophets, dispensational, because there are seven dispensations: one prophet for each dispensation; and there are seven dispensational Messages; and each dispensational prophet is the bearer of the Message for the dispensation that God sends him.
• The first dispensational prophet was Adam, for the Dispensation of Innocence.
• The second dispensational prophet was Seth, for the Dispensation of Consciousness, after the human being had already fallen.
• The third dispensational messenger or dispensational prophet was Noah, for the third dispensation, the Dispensation of Human Government.
• The fourth dispensational prophet was Abraham, the father of faith, for the Dispensation of the Promise.
• The fifth dispensational prophet was Moses, for the Dispensation of the Law; therefore, he was the bearer of the Message of the Law.
• The sixth dispensational prophet is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, He is the bearer of the Message of the Dispensation of Grace.
• And then only one dispensational prophet remains, for the seventh dispensation, which is the Dispensation of the Kingdom; and he comes with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
And just as the Message of the Dispensation of Grace revolves around the First Coming of Christ, the Message of the Dispensation of the Kingdom revolves around the Second Coming of Christ.
And now, who is that messenger for the Dispensation of the Kingdom? He is the last dispensational prophet, and therefore he is the last prophet that God sends to planet Earth. With him all that Divine Program will end, and we will enter into the transformation of our bodies and the dead in Christ to the resurrection in eternal bodies.
Just as each dispensational prophet came doing the work of God pertaining to each dispensational age or each dispensation, and came with the Message for that dispensation; so also the messenger of the seventh dispensation, who is the greatest prophet of all prophets, after the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, we can see that there is only one prophet left for the human race and for God: A dispensational prophet. And just as Jesus Christ was on Earth working in the business of His heavenly Father, so will the last dispensational prophet be working in the business of our heavenly Father.
Now, let’s see something very important: where will he be, where will he come from, where will God raise him (that prophet)?
God has raised His prophet messengers of each age in the previous age; and that prophet, coming at the end of the age that is coming to its end, then intertwines a new age and opens a new age, and closes the age that came to its end; and that is done by God through that messenger, because it is through that messenger that God carries out His Work. So it is with dispensations also: always at the end of a dispensation a dispensational prophet has to appear to start a new dispensation.
Now we can see why, when John the Baptist was preaching, John the Baptist being the last of the prophets of the Dispensation of the Law…, of whom Christ said that the prophets and the Law came, prophesied until John7; and yet Jesus is the prophet of Nazareth, and is a greater prophet than John.
And John is the last prophet of the Dispensation of the Law, but Jesus Christ is the prophet who will close the Dispensation of the Law and open a new dispensation: The Dispensation of Grace; and that is why He comes with a new dispensational Message: to establish a new dispensation. And there a new dispensation was being intertwined: The Dispensation of Grace was being intertwined with the Dispensation of the Law.
Jesus was born under the Dispensation of the Law, at the end of the Dispensation of the Law, the last years of the Dispensation of the Law; and according to the Law he was presented to God: on the eighth day he was circumcised,8 the palominos were offered for him and all these things, because he was coming in the last years of the Dispensation of the Law; and then a new dispensation was intertwining, because there was a dispensational prophet there.
That is why Jesus Christ, in the way He worked in the business of His heavenly Father, the people of that time protested about some things. They said: “You work on the Sabbath, and on the Sabbath according to the Law you can’t work.” He said to them: “If your donkey falls into a hole on the Sabbath, do you leave it there or do you pull it out?”9 They had to pull it out. And so on and so forth there were a few things that they did, even though it was the Sabbath.
But Jesus, you see, was healing the sick not only on weekdays, but on the Sabbath as well; he was unbinding people who were bound with diseases or were mentally bound with evil spirits, he was freeing them. And the people, some people, some religious leaders, didn’t like that Jesus was healing the sick on the Sabbath.
But Jesus once said: “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath”10; and if He is Lord of the Sabbath, He does as He wishes to do. And what was Jesus doing? The works of the Father. If on the Sabbath God showed Him to heal a sick person, Jesus did it. And so on and so forth we find Jesus working as the Father showed Him.
That is why we find that on many occasions there were many people in one place, as in the pool of Bethesda, waiting for an angel to come and move the waters, that is, for the Angel of the Lord to come and move the waters; the Angel who moved the waters of the Red Sea and opened them; and also those of the Jordan: when the Hebrew people passed with Joshua, He had moved them, as He had moved those of the Red Sea.
And now, from time to time he moved the waters in that pool; and then whoever entered those waters, the first one to enter, was healed.
But now that Angel came to that pool clothed in human flesh: it was none other than the one inside Jesus.
And now, the heavenly Father, who is inside Jesus, shows a man who was lying there on a bed of those that they carry (a stretcher), on a bed, and He says to him: “Do you want to be healed?” He says to him: “I have no one to put me into the water when the water is troubled by the Angel.” And Jesus tells him to take up his bed – to get up, take up his bed and walk away, and it was a Sabbath day; and the man did so and walked on well.11
There was the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, moving the waters; and there he didn’t have to enter the literal waters, but entered the waters of the Word spoken by the Holy Spirit through Jesus.
It was the Holy Spirit, it was God, who spoke through Jesus; because God placed His Word in the mouth of Jesus, and He spoke that Word and carried out the Work of the One who had sent Him. The work of the One who had sent Him had to be done, and it was done through His instrument: Jesus of Nazareth.
Now, notice how Saint Paul tells us that God spoke through Jesus. In Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 1 to 2, he says:
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets…”
In other words, what the prophets spoke, prophesied, were not their words: it was the Divine Word that God had placed in the mouth and heart of those prophets; and when they spoke it was the Holy Spirit speaking through them: they were speaking anointed by the Holy Spirit. He goes on to say:
“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son…”
He has spoken to us by whom? By our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, it says: “…in these last days…”, and that was two thousand years ago, approximately.
Now how can those be the last days, and two thousand years have already passed? For “one day before the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 8; and Psalm 90, verse 4, a psalm of the prophet Moses. A day before God, for human beings is a thousand years, that is, it is a millennial day.
When Jesus was 4 to 7 years old, the fifth millennium began, and therefore the last days began; because the last days before God are the fifth millennium, sixth millennium and seventh millennium for human beings.
Now, we can see that we were truly living in the last days when Jesus Christ was on Earth preaching. Saint Paul was not wrong when he said that those were the last days.
Saint Peter also said that those were the last days when he said that God promised to pour out of His Holy Spirit in the last days, as He had said through the prophet Joel. In chapter 2 of the book of Acts, verse 14 and on, we find in the first message of Saint Peter, preached in the midst of the Hebrew people, that he said that those were the last days. It says:
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”
That is, from 8 to 9 in the morning was the time when Peter preached that message.
The first hour of the day, there in the midst of the Hebrew people, is from 6 to 7 in the morning, the second hour is from 7 to 8 in the morning and the third hour is from 8 to 9 in the morning. Those three hours make up the fourth watch, which is the only watch that is during the day.
People’s idea is always that when you talk about a watch, you are talking about the night; but it is not so, because you can watch at night, but you can also watch during the day.
Jesus Christ commanded His Church and His messengers to be watching; watching for what? For the Coming of the Son of Man.
And the Church of Jesus Christ was under the time of the night during the seven ages or stages, she was living in the different watches of the night: the first watch, which is from 9 to 12 at night; the second, which is from 12 to 3 in the morning; and the third, which is from 3 to 6 in the morning. During that period of time the seven ages of the gentile Church were fulfilled and the seven angel messengers were sent; and that is why they are marked as stars, because they came in the time of the night; and that is why the Church is represented in the moon.
But for the fourth watch the sun is already rising; and the promise of the Second Coming of Christ is like the Sun of Righteousness rising, according to Malachi, chapter 4, verse 2:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”
Here He is speaking to us of the Coming of the Son of Man, of the Second Coming of Christ, of the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant for the end time; and He shows us that that time in the Divine Program, in the midst of the Church of Jesus Christ, will be a time represented in the dawn of a new day.
It is at the dawn of a new dispensational day and at the dawn of a new millennial day. Why? Because two thousand years have already passed —from Jesus to this time— two thousand years, which are two days before God, but for us they have been two thousand years; and they pertain to the time of the night, through which the Church of Jesus Christ would pass, and the seven stages or ages would be fulfilled with the seven angel messengers.
And now, for this end time, a new millennial day: The Last Day, which is the seventh millennium; and the seventh millennium, which is the Last Day before God, of which Christ spoke in John, chapter 6, verse 40, when He said:
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
What is the Last Day? The seventh millennium. The resurrection of the dead in Christ is for the seventh millennium, and the transformation of us who are alive is for the seventh millennium also; because the dead in Christ are resurrected first, and then we who are alive will be transformed.12
And now, look at the mystery of the last days: they are the last days before God, which for human beings are the last millenniums; that is, they are millennial days, days each of which each one corresponds to a thousand years.
And now, in this time in which we live, we are already in the seventh millennium, if we add to the calendar the years of delay that it has.
Now let’s continue to look at what Peter said, after saying:
“…seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.”
When did God promise to pour out His Holy Spirit? For the last days, which began in the days of Jesus. That is why Jesus promises them the Coming of the Holy Spirit; and that is for the last days. And with the Coming of the Holy Spirit, what Jesus Christ said was necessary to be born again becomes a reality.
Christ told Nicodemus that it was necessary to be born again; He said to him: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God (that is, he can’t understand It).” And Nicodemus was interested in entering the Kingdom of God:
“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? (Chapter 3, verse 3 and on , of John).
Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
It is necessary to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God.
And that is why Christ has been pouring out His Holy Spirit upon all flesh that has received Christ as their Savior, has washed their sins in the Blood of Christ and has received the Spirit of Christ; and thus has obtained the new birth: has been born of the Water and the Spirit, and therefore, has been born in the Kingdom of God, has been born in the Church of Jesus Christ.
Because no one can join the Church of Jesus Christ: he has to be born in the Church of Jesus Christ; and that is by believing in Christ as our Savior, washing our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit; and that is how the person is born as a new creature in the Kingdom of God; and thus he belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ, which is the House of God, the Family of God.
It is in that Family that the messengers of the seven ages of the gentile Church have been. It is in that Family that the messengers of the seven ages of the gentile Church have been born: they have been born in the House of God, by believing in Christ as their Savior, washing their sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit; just as all the other children of God have been born: in the House of God, in the Church of Jesus Christ.
The Church of Jesus Christ, being the House of God, well, she has the children of God. See how Saint Paul tells us in his letter to the Hebrews, speaking of the House of God, which is the Church of Jesus Christ; in chapter 3, verse 5 to 6, of his letter to the Hebrews, he says:
“And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.”
Now we can see that the House of God, which is the Family of God, is the Church of Jesus Christ.
That is also the Fold of the Good Shepherd, where He would call and gather His sheep, according to John, chapter 10, verse 14 to 16. Let’s read that passage, so that you may see how Christ has been calling and gathering His sheep. Chapter 10, verse 14 to 16, Jesus says:
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (that is, they are not of the Hebrew people: they are from among the gentiles): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
And now, how are they going to listen to the Voice of the Good Shepherd, if Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, when He died, resurrected, was on Earth for about 40 days appearing to His disciples, and then ascended to Heaven and sat on the Throne of God in Heaven?
Christ has been on this Earth in His Church in Holy Spirit, from age to age, and has been sending His angel messengers from age to age, anointed with the Holy Spirit, and Christ has placed His Word in them; and when those messengers have spoken, it has been the Voice of Christ calling and gathering His sheep in His Fold, in His Church, from age to age.
And in the territory where God has sent the messenger in each age, there have been the majority of the Good Shepherd’s sheep:
In Asia Minor, where God sent Saint Paul to take the Message among the gentiles, although Hebrews also entered… You see, Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in Saint Paul: Saint Paul said: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”13 And if Christ lived in Saint Paul, then He spoke through Saint Paul and called the sheep of the first age through Saint Paul. That is the faithful and wise servant of the first age of the gentile Church; that is the faithful and wise servant, of the faithful and wise servants that our Lord Jesus Christ has placed in His House, that is, in His Church.
Christ spoke of the faithful and wise servants, and He also mentions them as faithful and wise stewards; He has placed these faithful and wise servants. Let’s see what Mark, Luke and Matthew tell us about these faithful and wise servants.
Mark, chapter 13, verse 34 and on, tells us:
“For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work (that is, his labor), and commanded the porter to watch.”
Although Jesus Christ went far away, to the House of our heavenly Father, He placed these faithful and wise servants in each stage of His Church, which is His House. His Church is His House, it is the House of God, where the children of God are. And why did He place them there? To give them the Food in time, and to carry out the work of Christ relevant to each age in the House of God.
And those messengers work in the House of God, according to how Jesus Christ shows them to work in the age in which they are living. They are responsible as faithful and prudent servants in the House of God, as faithful and wise stewards, sent to be the administrators. In every stage of the Church of Jesus Christ they are guided by Jesus Christ, by our heavenly Father; because we are children of God through Jesus Christ, and He is the one who guides these faithful and wise servants.
And the Work of Jesus Christ relevant to each age is carried out by the Holy Spirit through those faithful and wise servants, who, anointed with the Holy Spirit, work in the Work of Jesus Christ guided by Jesus Christ; and they have to be watching, and especially watching for the Second Coming of Christ: watching for the Coming of the Son of Man.
“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh…”
What are they to watch about? About the Coming of the Lord of the House; and the Lord of the House is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, who has been placed “as a Son over His House, which House we are.” The Church of Jesus Christ is the House of God and is that spiritual Temple of God, for God to dwell in Holy Spirit in His House, His Church, His Family. For the Last Day, He will dwell in all His fullness.
During the ages that have passed He has been dwelling in the first fruits of the Spirit; but for the Last Day He will resurrect the dead in Christ, and transform us who are alive, and thus, He will adopt us; because the adoption is the redemption of the body:14 the transformation of our body and resurrection of the dead in Christ into eternal bodies; that is adoption. And when we are adopted, God will be dwelling in each one of us in all His fullness.
Now, we can see that it is very important for these faithful and wise servants to be watching for the Coming of the Lord.
And Christ has made a promise for these faithful and wise servants; because there will be one —from among the faithful and wise servants— who will be living on Earth at the time of the Coming of the Son of Man, at the time of the Second Coming of Christ; and the promise is that “whosoever overcomes and keeps my works until the end…” To keep the works of Christ until the end, well, he will be living at the end of time and end of the world.
Now, in the first age we had the first faithful and wise servant, Saint Paul, but for that time the Second Coming of Christ was not fulfilled, the Coming of the Son of Man was not fulfilled; therefore, Saint Paul was not the faithful and wise servant who would receive the bright and Morning Star.
Christ said in Revelation, chapter 2, verse 28: “To him that overcometh will I give the Morning Star.” And in Revelation 22, verse 16, Jesus Christ says: “I am the bright and Morning Star.”
The Overcomer, who will be living in the Last Day, will receive the bright and Morning Star; and Christ being the bright and Morning Star and coming in the Last Day, who will receive Him? The Overcomer; he is the one who will receive Him and welcome Him.
And the group of the Overcomer who will be living in the Last Day (which will be well fed, because they will be fed by the faithful and wise servant of the Last Day, of the seventh millennium), will welcome the bright and Morning Star: Christ manifested in the Last Day.
And His Message, the Message of the bright and Morning Star…; like every morning, the bright and morning star announces that a new day is dawning, and that the sun is already shining, and that the brightness of light that is seen (although the sun is not yet seen) is the light of the sun: The light of a new day. The sun always comes out, rises, in a new day; and the morning star, when it shines and gives its message, it does so in the morning: when dawn is breaking, its message is that a new day is breaking.
And now, see how Christ is represented in the morning star, just as He represented each of the seven angel messengers in a star. They are stars because they are the light bearers during the seven ages of the gentile Church; through them, Christ the Sun of Righteousness was reflected, and gave light to each age through each angel messenger.
They are represented, the angel messengers, also in the lighted wick of each lamp of the candlestick; and the whole Church of Jesus Christ is represented in the candlestick or lampstand with the seven lighted lamps; and each age of the Church is represented in each lamp of that candlestick.
Now, we can see that the position of those messengers is great before God; they are also represented before God there in Heaven, in the Temple of God. They are the seven spirits of God that travel all over the Earth,15 because the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, manifested through each one of them, has been traveling the Earth from age to age.
There have been seven manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the seven ages of the gentile Church, corresponding to the Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ.
But a temple for God is not complete if it doesn’t have a most holy place; and the Most Holy Place is the Cornerstone, the Age of the Cornerstone. Without that Age of the Cornerstone, the Church of Jesus Christ would have no place in this Last Day to have Christ manifested, in this time in which we live.
Christ has already been manifested in the seven ages of the gentile Church; but at this time He needed a place to be manifested in His Church, and that place is the Age of the Cornerstone; and the Age of the Cornerstone is the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; and that is where the bright and Morning Star is manifested.
It was not in the past ages: It is in the Age of the Cornerstone. This is where the bright and Morning Star manifests Himself, and that is where the bright and Morning Star, Jesus Christ, manifests Himself through His messenger that He will have in the Age of the Cornerstone.
Just as there was a territory for each age, where each age was fulfilled and God sent each messenger:
• To Asia Minor, where He fulfilled the first age and where He sent Saint Paul;
• and then France, where He sent Irenaeus and fulfilled the second age;
• then Hungary and France were the territory of the third age, where He sent Martin;
• and then Ireland and Scotland, where He sent Columba, was the territory of the fourth age;
• and then Germany was the territory of the fifth age, where He sent Luther;
• and then England, the territory of the sixth age, where He sent Wesley;
• and then North America, the territory of the seventh age, where He sent the Reverend William Branham, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, with the spirit and power of Elijah in his fourth manifestation.
And then, what else does God have?
He has already sent, for His different stages or ages, the seven faithful and wise servants that He would send to His Church; and the Church of Jesus Christ has no more messengers for the seven ages of the gentile Church, He has no more messengers for the Holy Place: He has already sent the seven of them.
But the Church of Jesus Christ is still on Earth, and has an age: The Age of the Cornerstone, the Eternal Age of the Church of Jesus Christ. And although she doesn’t have any of the seven stars or messengers of the seven ages, the Church of Jesus Christ will have the Greatest Star: The bright and Morning Star, which is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ manifested in this end time. And we are going to see in a few moments how this manifestation of the bright and Morning Star is promised.
We continue reading here about the faithful and wise servants:
“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing (here we have three watches) , or in the morning (here we have the fourth watch, which is in the morning)…”
And if He didn’t come at evening, and if He didn’t come at midnight, and if He didn’t come at the cockcrowing, then it is for the fourth watch; it is for the morning: the morning of a new dispensational day and the morning of a new millennial day.
Now, we can see that a faithful and wise servant will also be there giving the Food on time to the children of God for the time of the morning. He says:
“…Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.”
We must all be awake, watching for the Coming of the Lord.
And now, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Reverend William Branham, sent to the seventh age of the gentile Church in North America, we find that he prepared the people by giving them the Message that foreruns the Second Coming of Christ; and that will be the foundation for the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ. His Coming must be fulfilled as the forerunner said.
And now, notice what the forerunner says in the book of The Seven Ages of the gentile Church, page 365 and 366. Speaking of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, he shows us the parallel there is with the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, John the Baptist. He says:16
“Though he will not be popular, he will be vindicated by God. As Jesus authenticated John, and the Holy Ghost authenticated Jesus, we can well expect this man will be first of all authenticated by the Spirit working in his life in acts of power that are indisputable and found nowhere else; and Jesus Himself, in returning, will authenticate him, even as He authenticated John.”
In other words, he will confirm and reconfirm that Reverend William Branham was the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Elijah who was to come in his fourth manifestation.
“…and so will this man, like John, witness that Jesus is coming. And the very return of Christ will prove that this man indeed was the forerunner of His second coming. This is the final evidence that this indeed is the prophet of Malachi 4…”
What is the final evidence that John the Baptist was the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ? Well, the Coming of Christ there in the midst of the people.
John said: “After me comes a man, a man of whom I am not worthy to untie the latchet of His shoes. He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire.” Who would be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire: the followers of John or the followers of Jesus? The followers of Jesus.
John said: “I baptize you with water (water baptism), but He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire.”17
John’s disciples, we find, for the most part continued with John, with the exception of a portion of John’s disciples who went with Jesus. How angry were those who stayed with John!: “How can they go with Jesus?! Why don’t they stay with John?! It was with him that we began.”
And you know who were among the first to go with Jesus? John the apostle, who was a young man (young people are always hard to stop; and when they see a truth, they follow it and no one can stop them!), and the other one was Andrew, Peter’s brother. They followed Jesus when John said: “Behold the Lamb of God,” in John; and John mentions it in his Gospel. Let’s see, John, chapter 1, verse 35 and on, says:
“Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.”
Did they do wrong or did they do right? They did well. Why? Because it is very important to recognize the forerunner, to receive his Message, and to know that a forerunner comes preparing the way for One who comes after him, and comes announcing that after him comes One who is greater than him.
John the Baptist was the prophet messenger of the seventh age of the Hebrew Church under the Law, but Jesus was a dispensational messenger. And which is greater: a messenger of an age or a messenger of a dispensation? A dispensational messenger is greater.
And now, John was preparing the way for a dispensational messenger, in whom the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit, would come incarnate in those days; and that would be the Anointed One of God, the Messiah; because what Messiah means is ‘the Anointed One.’
And now, notice, through the Anointed One the works of God would be done, in other words, the work of God relevant to that time would be done, which was the work that Jesus was doing; and then, at the end, He would do the greatest work: The Redemption, through His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, because He came as the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world. That was the most important part of the work He would do in the Divine Work, in the Divine Program.
And now, John the Baptist had been announcing that after him would come a man of whom he was not worthy to untie the latchet of His shoes, and he said that He was greater than him and that He was before him, and He came after him, and He was born after him. How can we understand that? According to the flesh, He was born after John the Baptist, about six months later; and according to the flesh, He came preaching after John the Baptist. And how was He before John? Jesus said in John, chapter 8 (there is the secret), verse 56 and on:
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.”
That was when Elohim with His Archangels Gabriel and Michael, the day before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, visited Abraham; and Abraham prepared for him a calf, a tender calf, with all the other things that go with that meal, such as bread, milk and other things; and Elohim with His Archangels Gabriel and Michael ate with Abraham. And Abraham rejoiced; he had the most important visitation: a heavenly visitation in visible form that could eat with Abraham; and Abraham didn’t miss that opportunity.18
“Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
Now, He is not only before John the Baptist, but He is also before Abraham; and He is not only before Abraham: He is before Noah, and He is before Enoch, and He is before Adam also.
Because: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This was in the beginning with God. By Him all things were made; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”19
The Word, who became flesh, who was before the Creation and carried out the entire Creation; that was the one who was within that veil of flesh.
Now, the veil of flesh wasn’t before Abraham nor before John: it was born after John; but the one who was within was before Abraham, was before Adam and was before the Creation, because He was the one who carried out all Creation:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”20
When they say to Him: “Show us the Father, and it is enough for us,” Jesus says to him: “Have I been with you so long, Philip, and yet you have not known me? He who has seen me has seen the Father,” Jesus said. “How then sayest thou: Show us the Father, and it is enough for us? Knowest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, and the Father is in me (or vice versa)?”21
Now, notice who it was that was inside Jesus, inside that veil of flesh: it was the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, God Almighty Himself with His theophanic body of the sixth dimension inside a body of flesh called Jesus: A simple, humble young construction worker, a carpenter from Nazareth.
When God promises something great, He fulfills it in a simple way; and that is God in simplicity manifesting Himself.
Now, we have noticed what the First Coming of Christ was: It was the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, of the Word, made flesh in the veil of flesh called Jesus, that young carpenter from Nazareth.
Now, John the Baptist had announced a great character; and when He came, He was a simple person; but He was great. He was great, though the veil of flesh was simple; but the one that was within was great: He was none other than the Angel of the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
That was what was promised for the Hebrew people as the Coming of the Messiah; Malachi, chapter 3, thus promised:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (and that messenger was John the Baptist): and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Who would come? The Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord; that is the One that would come and to whom John the Baptist would be preparing the way.
And when he prepared the way, notice, he spoke of One who would come after him, of a man; but that man when He was on Earth said: “I have come down from Heaven”22; and yet His body was born on Earth, in Bethlehem of Judea, according to the prophecy that He had to be born in Bethlehem of Judea. Micah, chapter 5, verse 2, says that He would have to be from Bethlehem of Judea; and Matthew, chapter 2, also.
When the wise men went looking for the Messiah, asking: “Where is the King of the Jews, who has been born? For we have seen His star in the East,” and all Jerusalem was troubled, and king Herod, and the religious leaders also; for that was a shame for the religious leaders of that time: that people would come from Babylon, from over there from Ur of the Chaldees, asking: “Where is the King of the Jews, who is born?,” and not even the high priest knew that the Messiah was born.
The high priest and the Council of the Hebrew religion: the Sanhedrin Council (with those seventy wise men, doctors of divinity, theology), didn’t know that the Messiah was already on Earth; and He had already been on Earth for two years. And that is a shame for the high priest, and all the priests of that time, and the Sanhedrin Council: it was a shame for the Hebrew religion that the promise of the Coming of the Messiah was already fulfilled, and they knew nothing.
What if the same thing happens in the Last Day, and the Second Coming of Christ is fulfilled, and the great councils with their great religious leaders don’t realize the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ? That already happened in the midst of the Hebrew people in the First Coming of Christ.
Now, notice how it all happened. They were waiting for the Coming of the Messiah: it was fulfilled; the coming of Elijah was also fulfilled…
They said to Jesus’ disciples: “How can you say that Jesus is the Messiah?, when the Scripture says that Elijah will come first. And Elijah hasn’t come! He went away in a chariot of fire (or flying saucer) and hasn’t returned; and Elijah is the one who comes first, preparing the way for Him.”
But Jesus answered that question to His disciples; for His disciples said to Him: “Why is it that the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” Matthew chapter 17, verse 10 and on:
“And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.”
He is speaking of the Elijah that will come in the end time; for in the end time two Elijah’s will come: Elijah forerunning the Second Coming of Christ in his fourth manifestation; and Elijah in his fifth manifestation as the Messenger to Israel, as one of the Two Olive Trees; and he will come with the other of the Two Olive Trees, which is Moses.
But we are going to see how God fulfills the promise of the coming of a prophet who already ministered on Earth; when He promises him again to minister on Earth, we are going to see how He fulfills that promise.
“…Elias truly shall first come (will come), and restore all things.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
Now, notice, God had promised that He would send Elijah; and when He sent him, his name was John; but the ministry that was in John was the ministry of Elijah operated by the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit is the one who has the ministries, and He is the one who operates those ministries in the one sent for the relevant time.
And now, the ministry of Elijah we had it for the first time in Elijah the Tishbite. For the second time, in a double portion, in Elisha, who asked for a double portion of the spirit that was in Elijah, and received it.
And when Elijah was caught up to heaven and his mantle fell from him, Elisha took it, and stood before the Jordan afterward: he smote the Jordan with the mantle, and the Jordan was opened, as Elijah the prophet had done. And the sons of the prophets said: “The spirit of Elijah has rested upon Elisha.”23
It is very important to know in whom the spirit of Elijah rested.
Then it rested for the third time in John the Baptist. The Archangel Gabriel, in chapter 1 of Luke, tells the priest Zechariah that he will have a son; and that this son will come with the spirit and power of Elijah, he will be a prophet of God; and what will he do? He will convert the people to God, that is, the faith of the fathers to the Christian faith: He will convert the hearts of the fathers to the children.
And although the Archangel Gabriel said to the priest Zechariah: “You shall call his name John…” And why did he not say to him: “Call his name, Elijah?” Because the veil of flesh was not Elijah: The veil of flesh was another man, a man of that time, who would be born in the midst of the Hebrew people; but the ministry that the Holy Spirit would be operating in him was the same ministry of the prophet Elijah (which had operated for the first time) and the ministry that operated in Elisha (which was the ministry of Elijah manifested for the second time).
The Archangel Gabriel told the priest Zechariah that this child, John, would be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.
Now, who was it that manifested the ministries in the Old Testament prophets? Saint Peter tells us: “And the Spirit of Christ which was in them (in whom? In the Old Testament prophets) foretold the sufferings (whose sufferings?) of the Messiah (through which He would pass), and the glories after those sufferings.”24 It was the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, in the Old Testament prophets.
God spoke through the prophets in the Old Testament; it was the Holy Spirit. Zechariah, chapter 7, verse 11 to 12, says:
“But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”
Because when the Voice of God is not heard, there comes great anger and divine judgment from God to the people.
Now, we have seen how the spirit of Elijah, that ministry of Elijah, was in Elijah the Tishbite, it was in Elisha, it was in John the Baptist; and then it was in the Reverend William Branham forerunning the Second Coming of Christ.
Now, when John the Baptist announced that One would come after him, and that would be the one who would baptize them with Holy Spirit and Fire, notice, when the Messiah arrived, He was not going to baptize them with Holy Spirit and Fire right away: He had to carry out a work that the Father would show Him.
He would be working in the labors of the heavenly Father relevant to that time: He would be preaching, He would be healing the sick, and so on. And then He would be adopted, as it was on Mount Transfiguration. And after that, He would carry out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross as the Lamb of God. And then He would resurrect, He would be with the disciples for 40 days, then He would ascend to Heaven, and 10 days later He would pour out of His Holy Spirit upon the believers in Him.25
And there were 120 waiting for the fulfillment of that promise on the Day of Pentecost26; and that was the first fruits of the Spirit. And that is what has been received from stage to stage, as people have been hearing the preaching of the Gospel, and have been believing in Christ as our Savior, and have been washing their sins in the Blood of Christ, and have been receiving the Holy Spirit.
And for the Last Day, in addition to the first fruits, we will have the fullness. It is the double portion, where, just as we have received the Holy Spirit and have been born again: We have entered the Kingdom of God, we have become part of the Church of Jesus Christ and have obtained a theophanic body of the sixth dimension; for the Last Day we will obtain an eternal and glorified physical body, equal to the body of Jesus Christ, by receiving the double portion: by receiving the fullness of the Spirit of God, and thus receive the adoption.
And now, for whom will this blessing be?
For whom was the blessing of receiving the Holy Spirit in those days of Jesus? John said it was for the believers in Jesus. He said: “After me comes a man,” and he said He was greater than he (than John), and he said: “He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire.” The promise of the Holy Spirit and Fire, of the new birth, would be for the believers in Jesus.
John’s disciples, we find that knew that John presented Jesus as the Lamb of God, as the one who would come after him; but not all followed Jesus.
Those who followed Jesus, after Jesus died and resurrected, received the Holy Spirit. Those who stayed with John, and even though John died then they remained in a group as followers of the forerunner, those people couldn’t receive the Holy Spirit; because the promise of the Holy Spirit was for the followers of the foreran, of Jesus.
Let’s see in the book of Acts, chapter 19, verse 1 and on, where Saint Paul meets with some followers of John, some disciples of the forerunner:
“And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.”
And John the Baptist had preached to them that He who would come after him would baptize them with Holy Spirit and Fire.
And where were these disciples of John, who didn’t hear what John preached?
If in those days someone had written down what John preached, John’s disciples could read it and say: “Truly John preached it here.” But look, it was written in the Gospels. John the apostle, who was a follower of John the Baptist, wrote that John preached that the one who would come after him would baptize them with Holy Spirit and Fire; and John the apostle, by following Jesus, received that promise: The promise of the Holy Spirit.
Now, the one who would come after John would be the man who John’s disciples had to follow. It was not enough to have followed the forerunner: then they had to follow the foreran, to receive the first fruits of the Spirit.
And to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit they would have to follow the foreran, who was forerun by the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ. And to know the mystery of the Seventh Seal, because the forerunner couldn’t open that mystery, which is the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, the forerunner said that the one who would come after him would be the one who would open that mystery.
No one can understand it, that mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, without listening to the foreran: without listening to the Angel of the Covenant speaking to His Church in this Last Day.
Now look at what Saint Paul says:
“And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him…”
Saint Paul says that John told the people to believe in the one who would come after him; and these disciples of John had not believed in the one who came after John, and therefore, they didn’t even know that there was a Holy Spirit.
Now we can see the importance of following the forerunner and then following the foreran. And the foreran has to come according to what the forerunner has said; he can’t come in any other way.
Now, the surprise two thousand years ago of the coming of the one that John announced would come after him, you know what it was? That He was a disciple of John. In a disciple of John, the coming of the foreran was fulfilled, the Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled!
He was a disciple of John, He had been with John, He believed in John’s Message, He was baptized by John; and John says: “This is the man. This is the one who comes after me. This is the one who will continue the Work.”
And they said to him on one occasion: “Look, now He to whom you bore witness, now more people follow Him than you, and He baptizes more people than you (although Jesus didn’t baptize, but rather the disciples of Jesus Christ).” And John says… Perhaps someone thought: “Now John is going to be jealous.” But John said: “It is convenient for Him to increase, and for me to decrease. A man can do nothing of himself, except it be given him from God.”27
And as God was showing Jesus the things that He had to do in order to work in God’s work for that time, Jesus was doing what the Father was showing Him; it was given to Him from the heavenly Father, the things that He was doing.
And John was very happy. That is a great privilege, which causes joy to the forerunner: that one of his disciples is the Messiah, is the man who would come after him and continue the work!
And the believers in the one who would come after John would be the ones who would receive the Holy Spirit and Fire from Heaven. Therefore, the disciples of the forerunner had to become disciples of the foreran.
Jesus vindicated John: He confirmed that John was His forerunner; He gave testimony of John: He testified that John was the Elijah who was to come. We read it in Matthew, chapter 17, verse 10 to 13. And He had already testified of John before, too, in Matthew chapter 11, verse 14: “And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.”
Do you see how Jesus testified of John?
And if a person didn’t appear fulfilling what John said, one who would come after him, what would happen to John? John then wouldn’t have been the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ.
John on one occasion was very worried: being in prison, he sent to ask Jesus: “Are you the one who was to come (that is, the one of whom I said would come after me), or shall we wait for another?”28 If Jesus wasn’t the man who would come after John, then John the Baptist wasn’t the man who would come before Jesus; and John then wouldn’t be the forerunner of the Coming of the Messiah if Jesus wasn’t the Messiah.
At the time when the forerunner was on Earth, the foreran was also there; but John said: “I knew Him not”29; but afterwards he knew Him.
And now, notice how the one who would come after John would be a disciple of John the Baptist. The foreran was a disciple of the forerunner; the one who would come after John, and continue God’s work for that time, was a disciple of the forerunner.
And what if for the Last Day the foreran becomes a disciple of the forerunner? He must necessarily be, in order to make the intertwining. Just as he must have been born in the last years or last century of the Dispensation of Grace, to make the dispensational intertwining; because he is the one who has to make that dispensational intertwining.
And now, let’s see what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said, which will be the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19.
It is very important to know what the forerunner said, because according to what the forerunner said, what God has promised must be fulfilled.
And we will also see what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said, the Elijah who would come preparing the way for the Lord, which came with the ministry of Elijah in his fourth manifestation.
He tried to go to the Hebrew people, but God told him not to go, that it was not the time, that it had to be according to Revelation 11.30 And Revelation 11 is the Two Olive Trees: Moses for the second time and Elijah for the fifth time. And the ministry that was in Reverend William Branham was the ministry of Elijah for the fourth time; therefore, that ministry wasn’t the ministry to the Hebrew people.
But what did Reverend William Branham speak of the ministry to the Hebrew people? On page 399 of the book of The Seals, he was asked question number 11, which reads as follows:31
“Is the Elijah, who comes to preach to the Jews (oh, yes), the real man who lived on earth, in the days of Ahab, or will he be spirit of Elijah in some other man?
(And the answer was):
[148] I’m inclined to believe that it will be anointed men, of their spirit.”
One doesn’t have to be waiting for him in the chariot of fire that he left on; he is a man of this end time anointed with that ministerial spirit. And the one who anoints His prophets is the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit will be in a man of this time, as He was in the Reverend William Branham, in John the Baptist, in Elisha and in Elijah; and He will anoint that man with that ministry of Elijah in his fifth manifestation; and that is the ministry of Elijah that will preach to the Hebrew people and that the Hebrew people will receive.
“Because, see, there, when Elijah had gone up and Elisha encountered the sons of the prophets, he says, ‘Does not… on Elisha? Does not the spirit of Elijah rest on Elisha?’ See, ‘the spirit of Elijah.’ And he done just like Elijah did, see.”
On page 449 of the book of The Seals, it says:32
“89 Now, there is only one person could fulfill that, only one Spirit that’s ever been on the earth, that I know of. Would either be… It would have to be Elijah, in his time. And it was predicted that it would be, which is nothing but the Spirit of Christ.
90 When Christ come, He was the fullness. He was the Prophet. He was the—the God of the prophets.”
Now, see how it tells us that the spirit that was in Elijah manifested was the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit has manifested that ministry on different occasions, and for this time He would manifest it again.
And now, let’s see what it tells us about Elijah. Page 301 of the book of The Seals [MISSING PART IN ORIGINAL TAPE]:33
“202 And then according to the time that God was going to deliver the antediluvian world, He sent the eagle (that is, to the prophet Noah; prophets are represented in eagles). And time He was going to deliver Israel, He sent the eagle (that is, to the prophet Moses).
203 Do you believe that the time, even on John, on the Isle of Patmos, this Message was so perfect that He couldn’t trust It with an Angel? You know, an angel is a messenger. But do you know the messenger was a prophet?”
In other words, that Angel that gave John the apocalyptic revelation, that Angel is a prophet; that is why he comes giving testimony of the things that will happen. That is what the prophets of God do: prophesying the things that shall come to pass. He goes on to say:
“You believe that? Let’s prove it. Revelation 22, let’s see if it was a eagle. Yeah. See, he was a… Sure, he was an angel, he’s the messenger, but it was a prophet that revealed this whole Book of Revelation to him… Watch what John seen here.
‘…I John saw these things, and heard them.’
Now he’s closing. This is the last chapter.
‘…And when I… heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed these things, which showed me these things.
And, ‘he,’ then, ‘the angel,’ see. Then said he to me, See thou do it not…”
Why did he say it this way? Because no true prophet will accept the worship of other people.
Now, we have seen that this Angel is a prophet: the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is a prophet.
And now, let’s see, on page 326, last paragraph, it speaks again of this Angel and tells us:34
“[454] Moses will be the same person. Now, and we find out, in Revelation 22:8, the same thing.”
And who is the one we find in Revelation 22:8? The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the Moses who will come in this end time as one of the Two Olive Trees, and that is the Elijah who will come in this end time as another of the Two Olive Trees.
And can there be – can there be two ministries in one man? Who is it that gives the ministries? The Holy Spirit; and if the Holy Spirit is there, He can place as many ministries as He wants.
When Jesus appeared, all the ministries were in Him, because it was the fullness of God in Him. That is why some said: “It is John the Baptist, who has resurrected,” others said: “It is Jeremiah,” others said: “It is one of the prophets,” but Peter said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”35; but in Him were all the ministries.
Now, let’s see who will be the white horse Rider of Revelation 19. On page 277 of the book of The Seals, it tells us:36
“[391] …may the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider (Who is the white horse Rider of Revelation 19? The Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant), while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”
And now, let’s see on page 256 of the book of The Seals what it tells us about that white horse Rider of Revelation 19:37
“196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
And if we find that man, we will be finding the Holy Spirit, the white horse Rider of Revelation 19, in His final manifestation, we will be finding the instrument of Jesus Christ; and that instrument of Jesus Christ is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is in that Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ that the ministry of Moses for the second time, of Elijah for the fifth time and of Jesus for the second time will be. But that Angel is not the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why John wanted to worship him, and the Angel told him not to do so. That Angel is the instrument of Jesus Christ for the manifestation of Jesus Christ in this end time.
What would the followers of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ be waiting for? Well, what the forerunner said in the book of The Seals, in the book of The Ages and in the other messages regarding the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19: they would be expecting the Coming of the Holy Spirit, the Word, the Word incarnated in a man, in a man of this time in which we live.
And those who would be waiting for the return of Elijah, it would be the return of Elijah for the fifth time. How? In a man of this time anointed with that spirit; and that is also the coming of the ministry of Moses for this end time.
Of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ prophesies and tells us: “From the West will come a white horse Rider. We’ll ride this trail again.”38
And the occident is the West of the planet Earth, which consists of North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. And in North America the seventh gentile Church Age has already been fulfilled. Only Latin America and the Caribbean are left for the coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19: for the Coming of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, manifested in human flesh in this end time! And that is the one who will give the revival, the awakening of the Last Day in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
That age is being fulfilled in Latin America and the Caribbean in this end time, with Latin American and Caribbean people being called and gathered in the Age of the Cornerstone, to be prepared to be transformed in this end time.
We have seen this great blessing that God had for Latin America and the Caribbean; and it was enclosed in the most holy place of the tabernacle built by Moses and the temple built by Solomon: there that blessing was enclosed, there it was represented.
And now, in the construction of the spiritual Temple of Christ, the light has come out, in the construction of that part of the spiritual Temple of Christ.
Now, we have seen why the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Last Day will be working in the business of the One who sent him:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”39
He will be giving testimony to all these things.
“…and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to (manifest) unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”40
Who has He sent? His Angel Messenger, that prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, to make known to His Church all these things that must happen soon, and to make known the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in His Angel Messenger in this end time; and thus all of God’s elect be called and gathered in the Age of the Cornerstone, and be prepared to be transformed and raptured and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
We are being prepared to be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Who will receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit? Those who will be receiving the white horse Rider of Revelation 19: receiving Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger.
We have seen this mystery of “THE SON WORKING AS THE FATHER SHOWS HIM.”
And just as Jesus Christ as Son of God worked in the way the Father showed Him, so the Angel of Jesus Christ will be working in the Work, in the business of Jesus Christ in this end time; for he is a son of Jesus Christ through the new birth, just as each one of you and each one of the seven angel messengers of the past ages with the elect of the past ages.
Now, we can see that for the Last Day the Angel of Jesus Christ would be on Earth; and the Angel of Jesus Christ is the bearer of the Message with which all these things that must take place soon are made known, because that is the prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, to give testimony of all these things that must happen soon.
That is the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet promised for this end time, which God’s elect will be listening to in this end time and will be following, and will be prepared; and will be transformed in this end time.
We will all be transformed. Why? Because we will be hearing the Great Voice of Trumpet, that Last Trumpet.
And the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Seventh Trumpet and it is also the Seventh Seal: both things are the Coming of the Lord.
And the Message of the Angel of Jesus Christ is the one that has the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ; revelation that couldn’t be opened to the Church of Jesus Christ by the seventh angel messenger of the seventh gentile Church age; but that mystery would be opened in this end time.
See what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says on page 149 of the book of Quotations:41
1333 – “Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’ Just resting till that time.”
There we can see what the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet is: It is the Seventh Seal; it is the Coming of the Lord being revealed to the Church of Jesus Christ by the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will be manifested in the Last Day, just as He was manifested in every angel messenger of the seven ages of the gentile Church.
That is the faithful and wise servant for this end time, in the House of God, in the Most Holy Place of the House of God, of the Temple of God; and he will be there working in the business of Jesus Christ: in the House of God, in the Most Holy Place.
The business of the Most Holy Place, of Jesus Christ, notice, Jesus Christ carries out in His House, in His Church, through His Angel Messenger; that is the son of Jesus Christ who for the Last Day will be working in the House of Jesus Christ, in the Church of Jesus Christ.
But all other children of God will be working with that messenger, with that son of God, with that son of Jesus Christ; and we will do the Work of Jesus Christ of this end time; and we will be adopted, we will be transformed, and we will be taken to the House of our heavenly Father, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven; because we will be working in the House of our heavenly Father according to how He shows us for this end time, for His House, for the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom. That is the son that will be adopted in this end time.
None of the seven angel messengers were adopted, but for this end time Jesus Christ will adopt a son of His, a messenger of His: His Angel Messenger. That is why John wanted to worship him on two occasions, but the Angel didn’t want that worship; all worship is for God: “Worship God.”
“THE SON WORKING AS THE FATHER SHOWS HIM.”
“THE SON WORKING AS THE FATHER SHOWS HIM.”
We have seen all that work entails for this end time, as well as for every age of the gentile Church.
It has been my privilege to be with you tonight, giving you testimony of this son who would be working as the Father would be showing him; and we have seen that this son is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That is the Angel that comes with the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet. That is the Angel in whom Christ comes in Holy Spirit manifested in the Last Day, anointing him and using him according to how He has promised for this end time, and fulfilling through him what He has promised.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon you all and upon me also; and may we all soon be transformed and taken to the House of our heavenly Father, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
May God continue to bless you all, and thank you very much for your kind attention, and may you all have a good evening.
God bless you and keep you all.
