The still small voice

Good morning, and good afternoon to those in places where it is already late. It is a great privilege to be with you again, to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

The Scripture tells us in First Kings chapter 19, verse 8 and on… 8 to 21 of First Kings, chapter 19:

And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?

And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he said,” (in other words, God), “Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:

And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And the Lord said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:

And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.

And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.

Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to comprehend It.

Our subject is: “THE STILL SMALL VOICE.”

There are four very important stages here: the one of the strong wind; second, the earthquake; third, the fire; and fourth, the still small Voice. Which, in type and figure, pertains to the Church stages: the stage of the time of Luther, which is the fifth stage of the Church, the Lutheran Age; then comes the sixth stage of the Church, the Wesleyan Age.

Luther’s stage pertains to that strong wind that broke the rocks, but the Lord was not there in the strong wind; God was passing by.

He passed by the Lutheran Age; He did not stay there, nor was He manifested in all His fullness. Then He passed by the Wesleyan Age, the age of that strong earthquake. He was passing from stage to stage, from age to age. Then He went on to the stage represented in the fire, the seventh stage or age of the Church.

The one of the strong wind was the fifth age, the Lutheran Age; the one of the earthquake was the Wesleyan Age, the sixth age; and the age of fire was the Laodicean Age, in other words, represented in the Laodicean church, which is the seventh age; and then comes the stage of the still small Voice, which pertains to a higher stage: the stage of the Cornerstone. That is the stage where God speaks to Elijah.

With that still small Voice comes the Voice of God—because God is there—and He comes speaking to Elijah, so that Elijah does what must be done: anoints Hazael to be king over Syria, anoints Jehu to be king over Israel, and anoints his successor, Elisha, to be prophet (in the prophet Elijah’s place).

Then Elisha, when Elijah said to him: “I am going to be taken away from you. Ask what I shall do for you, or what God shall do for you, ask for what you want.”1

And when someone is requested to ask for what he wants to ask, one forgets about limitations.

And Elisha tells him: “I only want one thing: for a double portion of the Spirit that is in you to come upon me.”

The double portion, a type and figure of the double portion promised for the end time, which includes the baptism of the Holy Spirit as the first portion; and the other portion: the physical transformation in a glorified body. And along with that, well, all of God’s power and the restoration to Eternal Life.

And for this, the Title Deed is required, the Book sealed with Seven Seals, which is promised to be open on Earth – brought open to Earth; because Christ will take It in Heaven in chapter 5 of Revelation; He will open It and bring It to Earth and give It to a man represented in John the apostle, who represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ passing through all the stages, and the messengers of every stage of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And since it’s to the Church—always led by the messenger—that Christ comes in Holy Spirit and gives the Message to the Church by giving It to the messenger, and by the messenger proclaiming It in the Church… since the Church is also the Mountain of God, the spiritual Kingdom of God, It is the spiritual Mount Zion, It is the spiritual and heavenly Jerusalem, and It is typified in Mount Horeb or Mount Sinai.

Just like on that mountain God gave the Covenant to Israel when He gave It to Moses to speak It and give It to the Hebrew people, now the New Covenant is on Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem, made up of the names written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, which are the believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, the Mountain under the New Covenant is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the living stones are, which have been cut to form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, a Mountain, a Kingdom. Remember that kingdoms are also represented in mountains.

Now, God typifies Christ with the Cornerstone,2 and all that Christ is, and all that He is heir to, so are the believers in Christ. For example, Christ said: “I am the Light of the world.” (Saint John chapter 8, verse 12.) And on another occasion He says: “Ye are the Light of the world.”3 It’s because everything that Christ is Heir to, so are His believers.

For example, He shows us in Revelation that He is the Bright and Morning Star;4 and His believers are also represented in stars. That is also why God told Abraham that his seed would be as the sand on the seashore, on the shore, the sand of the sea, and that it would be like the stars of heaven.5 In other words, that is referring to individuals.

We also find that Christ is represented in the sun: by Him being the Light of the world, He is the Sun; and by saying: “Ye are the light of the world,” the Church is represented in the moon that shines at night.

Therefore, having this knowledge of types and figures which represent Christ and represent us as well, it is important to know that we are living stones, stones that form the spiritual Temple of Christ.

Let’s ask Saint Peter about this in chapter 2 of First Peter, to see what he says to us about what I am talking to you about. Chapter 2, verse 4 of First Peter, says:

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

Ye also, as lively stones,” (us also, as what? As lively stones), “are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

We are living stones, human beings represented in the stones with which Solomon’s temple was built; and the most important One is the Cornerstone, which is Christ in His First Coming and in His Second Coming.

He came back then with the people of the Covenant of the Old Testament—the Hebrew people—as the crown of the Hebrew people, as the crown of the spiritual Temple, and He was rejected.

Now under the New Covenant, in which the Church of Christ is, the Second Coming of Christ, the Second Coming of the Stone cut out without hands (cut out of which mountain? The Mountain of God), the Coming of the Lord pertains to that Mountain; just like to the Mountain, the people of God, the Church of the Old Testament, pertained the Coming of the Cornerstone back then in the stage of the Cornerstone after the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ came, who was John the Baptist.

After John the Baptist would come the One for whom John was preparing the way. And He came in the midst of the people of the Covenant that was in effect at that time, and he was one of the members of the people of the Covenant, circumcised on the eighth day,6 a keeper of the Law and a teacher. He taught the Word of God to the people, and especially the promises relevant to that time, which He was making known; and He showed them when those Scriptures were being fulfilled in Him, He would say to them: “This day is this Scripture fulfilled before you.”7

And then He begins to speak to His disciples who were on the way to Emmaus about what was written of Him, what was in the Psalms, what was in the Law of Moses, what was in the writings of the prophets, and showing them that all of that was being fulfilled at that time.8

And when it is made known what is being fulfilled at the time in which a person lives, that is like a fire in people’s souls.

That is why when they arrive at the house where they were going, Jesus acts like He is going to continue on His way, and they said to Him: “Don’t leave, stay with us.” And He stays with them for supper; and they don’t even know who they are walking with. It’s because He was already resurrected; and the resurrection for the believers in Christ is in glorified bodies just as Christ was resurrected glorified.

And therefore, when the believers in Christ are resurrected in glorified bodies, if they were an elderly man or elderly woman, they will be a young woman or young man appearing here on Earth. And if Christ represented 33 to 50 years of age, when He resurrected He didn’t anymore.

The disciples of Jesus Christ themselves did not recognize Him; and let’s say: If He were the same as His body was when they last saw Him, they would have recognized Him. But in the resurrection one is resurrected glorified. The resurrection is with Eternal Life, a glorified body; and the glorified body is eternal.

It was inconceivable that His disciples did not recognize Him, despite being with Him in His earthly ministry of three and a half years; but the reason is because He was glorified. As simple as that.

So, when the family members of the believers who died resurrect, if they were an elderly man or elderly woman, you will see a young man or a young woman; and if he was a child, you will see a young man of 18 to 21 years of age. And when we realize it and look at ourselves in the mirror, we will see a young man or young woman of 18 to 21 years of age. When we see them, we will be changed. So, these are promises pertaining to this end time.

Notice, at that time there was a resurrection not only of Christ, but of the Old Testament saints. At this end time there will be a resurrection of the New Testament saints; meaning, the saints of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, made up of all the believers in Christ.

And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One that has the promise of the Second Coming of Christ, which is why He also sent a forerunner who came forerunning, preparing the way for the Lord, forerunning the Second Coming of Christ to His Church.

Therefore, the Coming of the Lord at the Last Day to seek His Church will be according to how it was announced, forerun by Rev. William Branham, who is the Elijah forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

Elijah the Tishbite was the first Elijah; then the second Elijah—with a double portion—was Elisha, a type and figure of the double portion that the fifth Elijah will receive. Then the third Elijah was John the Baptist, forerunner of the First Coming of Christ; and then the fourth Elijah was Rev. William Branham in the midst of the people of the New Covenant, in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the seventh Church age, represented in the Laodicean Age, forerunning a new time that will come.

After the seventh age comes the stage or Age of the Cornerstone or Messianic Age for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, as it was under the Old Covenant with the people of the Old Covenant: after John the Baptist came Jesus; a new stage or age began: the Messianic Age of that time for the Hebrew people in which the promises of the First Coming of Christ were fulfilled in a young carpenter from Nazareth, named Jesus. That simple young man was the Messiah.

Remember that the Messiah or Messiah means: “Anointed One.” He was the One anointed with the Holy Spirit in all His fullness. As simple as that. The Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One.

That is why He said: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me.” And He began to list the things He had been anointed for. We have been given a time parallel to the time of Jesus.

Remember that from age to age the Church has been traveling: from Israel to Asia Minor there with Saint Paul; then to Europe with five messengers; then the Holy Spirit traveled to North America and was manifested through Rev. William Branham, operating the ministry of Elijah for the fourth time and forerunning the Second Coming of Christ.

We can see the places through which God traveled in Holy Spirit, from age to age; and in God’s program, going up from one age to another age. And if we discover the age or stage He goes to after the seventh age, we will discover everything related to the Divine Program pertaining to this end time.

God is going to call and gather the elect of the Last Day with the Word of the still small Voice, where the ministries: of Elijah for the fifth time, of Moses for the third time, and of Jesus, will be present.

Therefore, God’s blessings for this time, for the Church of the New Covenant, are the greatest ones that the human race has ever had in its history; because it is the stage in which Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit, will bring the Title Deed of the Heavens and of the Earth, the Title Deed of Eternal Life, to open the Scriptures to us and our understanding, and to give us the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

We are in the most glorious time of all times. We are in the continent of the Americas, and above all, in the Latin American and Caribbean part, which is the most important territory in God’s Program of the New Covenant.

Although the human mind may not comprehend it yet, that is how it is. And we will see it as time passes and God works at this end time… Yes, we will understand it; when we are transformed, we will understand everything.

So, there are great blessings for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which He will be speaking to His Church through His Spirit operating the different ministries relevant to this end time; and then He will speak to the Hebrew people.

Therefore, let’s have our spiritual ear attentive; and “he who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”9

That is how it was from age to age, the Holy Spirit speaking; and in the Age of the Cornerstone is where He will speak everything we need to know to have the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

We are no longer in the age of the strong wind, we aren’t in the Lutheran Age; we aren’t in the age of the strong earthquake either, although a great earthquake will come on the planet Earth. But in the Divine Program, as for the Work of Christ in His Church, we are not in the age of the strong wind, which was the Lutheran Age, nor are we in the Wesleyan Age, which was the age of the strong earthquake, nor are we in the age of the fire, which was the Pentecostal Age.

So, which stage in the Church, which age in the Church are we in? In the Age of the still small Voice. It is the age parallel to the age of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago, and also parallel to the time of Noah, and parallel to the time of Abraham and Lot; and it is the age represented in the brain, the mind.

The brain does so many things! It is the one that works the most. But do you hear a sound? It is silent. You do not hear your thoughts, you do not hear how it works, but it directs the part called the body, because it receives orders from the soul, from the heart.

You don’t even hear the heart either, unless you have the relevant equipment, or unless you press your ear against… not your own heart because you can’t reach it, but someone else’s heart, to hear it.

Our stage is the stage of the Soul, of the Heart, and it is also typified in the brain, in the mind, which does not make noise, but does many good things, according to its seed; or bad things.

Therefore, it is the Age of the still small Voice that only Elijah heard, and the Voice of God was there speaking to the prophet Elijah in that still small Voice. And in that soft, simple way, God through His Spirit will be speaking to us at this end time. That is how God speaks to me, and to whom else? To each one of you, too.

With the still small Voice, God spoke to Elijah of the 7,000 Hebrews who had not bowed to Baal nor kissed him. And with the still small Voice, He will speak to the fifth Elijah about the 144,000 Hebrews.

With the still small Voice, the Voice of the still small Voice, which also spoke to him of the king that God would put over the ten northern tribes,10 the tribes called: the lost tribes of Israel. So, it also has to do with the 144,000 and also with the king that God will put for Israel and over Israel, and for all of mankind in the Millennial Kingdom; the Kingdom called the Kingdom of David and Throne of David, which Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One, is the heir to.

Everything God will speak to His Church at this end time will be through the still small Voice; because He is no longer speaking or passing by the stage of the mighty, strong wind, which is or which pertains to the Lutheran Age.

God spoke through Luther, God worked when He passed by that age, which pertains to the territory of Germany. And with the earthquake, it represented the way or the manifestation relevant to the Wesleyan stage or age, which pertains to England; and from there His Message spread to other nations.

That is how it has always been from age to age: a territory emerges and from there it emerges – it also spreads to other territories on the planet Earth. He is also not passing by anymore (He already passed) through the stage or age represented in the fire, the Pentecostal Age, which pertains to North America; He already passed through there.

Therefore, we must also see that He also used different languages as He passed from one age to another, from one territory to another.

If we go to the beginning, the Church was born in the land of Israel and they spoke Hebrew there; from there, He went to Asia Minor with Saint Paul, where Saint Paul also spoke Hebrew and spoke the language of the Romans, and perhaps he spoke other languages; (then…), and surely Greek, as well.

From there God in Spirit went on to Europe, and spoke through the messengers, in the language of the messenger, to the Church; and from there the Holy Spirit flew to North America and spoke English to His Church through Rev. William Branham.

And Rev. William Branham, referring to the Third Pull and to the Tent Vision, says that the Thunders spoke in an unknown language, in another language that he didn’t know; in other words, the Thunders were not speaking (which is the Voice of Christ, the Voice of the Angel of the Covenant, of Revelation 10), was not speaking in English; he says that he heard and he didn’t understand, because it was in a language that was unknown to him.11

The language will have to do with the territory where the still small Voice is being heard in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Voice of the still small Voice is the Voice of the Holy Spirit, of Christ speaking to His Church, His people of the New Covenant, covered with the Blood of the New Covenant, the Blood of Christ our Savior.

May God speak extensively to us with the still small Voice, may He open the Scriptures to us, and open our understanding so that we understand and our heart to believe. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God bless you and keep you all.
