The Throne of Grace – Introduction

Good evening beloved brethren and friends present, ministers and their collaborators who are here as well, and also those in different countries, ministers and their congregations, and to the missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin: Receive my greetings, and may God bless you greatly on this occasion, may He open the Scriptures to us and our understanding to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

On this occasion, let us read in Hebrews, chapter 4, verses 14 to 16, and in chapter 26, verse 64 of Matthew. First, Hebrews, chapter 4, verses 14 and on, says:

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

And Matthew, chapter 26, verse 64, says… 63 to 65, so that we get a full picture, says:

“And the high priest arose, and said unto him…”

This is when Jesus was being judged by the Sanhedrin Council. Let us read:

“And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.”

“THE THRONE OF GRACE.”

Saint Paul says to come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain grace, obtain divine mercy. And Christ said He would sit on the Throne of the power of God, the heavenly Throne; and the apostles tell us that He is sitting on the heavenly Throne; and Christ Himself says in Revelation, chapter 3, verse 21, that He sat on the Throne of God. He had said that he would sit there, and He did. Chapter 3, verse 20 to 21, says:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

He speaks to us here about two thrones: the Throne of the Father and the Throne of Jesus. And now, just as He sat on the Throne of the Father, the heavenly Throne, He says that he that overcomes will sit with Him on His Throne.

In Luke, chapter 1, verses 30 to 33, when the Angel Gabriel appeared to the virgin Mary and spoke to her about the promise of the Prince Messiah, the coming King, the Son of David, says… To get the full picture, let us begin on verse 26 of this chapter 1 of Luke, which says:

“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.

And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David;

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Here it says that God will give Him the Throne of David. Remember that Christ came and was known to be a descendant of king David; therefore, He was a prince of the house of David, in whom the prophecies of the Coming of the Son of David for that time were being fulfilled; and He would go through different difficult situations, and would die for the people, to carry out the Work of Redemption and with His Blood cleanse from all sin every person who would receive Him as Savior.

That is why we find in the Old Testament, in the sacrifices the Hebrew people carried out, that the blood redeemed the firstborns in Egypt when each family sacrificed the passover lamb, each family, and placed the blood, placed blood on the door posts of their homes for the preservation of the lives of the firstborns who lived in that home, in that house. The house that did not have the blood applied on the lintel and doorposts of the house, would die.

And this was type and figure of the Blood of the Lamb of God, the Prince Messiah, of whom John the Baptist said, when he saw Him, he said: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” [John 1:29]

Among the Hebrew feasts, we also have the day of atonement on the tenth day of the seventh month of each year, in which one bullock is sacrificed for the Lord, and another for the scapegoat; and the blood of that bullock – of the blood of that bullock, the high priest would take blood in a vessel to the most holy place and sprinkle it with his finger seven times upon the mercy seat; that is how he did the work of intercession that corresponds to the high priest to be carried out on that day every year, so that the people be reconciled with God, their sins forgiven and that work of atonement carried out. This is the Feast of Atonement mentioned in Leviticus, chapter 23 and verse 26 and on, where it says:

“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.

For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.”

We find that this feast for reconciliation is for the blessing of every individual who, repenting, asks God for forgiveness; and since there is an offering, an atonement for the people, the person obtains divine mercy. But if he does not approach God and take advantage of that opportunity, then the person is condemned to be cut off from the people.

Therefore, it is important to know the mystery of the Feast of Atonement as well as the rest of the Hebrew feasts, because those Hebrew feasts will be materializing, fulfilling themselves in the Divine Program for the good of the people.

For example, we have the Feast of the Tabernacles, in which the Hebrew people, on the corresponding day for that feast, which was the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the feast would be for seven days… In content the essence of that feast, is not only about spending seven days living in booths (made of branches, or in the corresponding way it is practiced in each place), but it is the type and figure, the foreshadow of the Messianic Kingdom, of the Millennial Kingdom of the Prince Messiah. Therefore, this sheds light on how the Millennial Kingdom will be.

Each feast impacts the human race every time it is fulfilled.

We also have the Feast of the Trumpets, of which we will speak on another occasion, because on this occasion we are speaking about “THE THRONE OF GRACE.”

It is the Throne of God, where Jesus is seated as He said: at the right hand of God. He is there as the High Priest according to the Order of Melchizedek, making intercession with His own Blood in the heavenly Throne of God, in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly Temple.

While He is there, the human being that listens to the preaching of the Gospel and the faith of Christ is born in his soul, receives Christ as Savior: this is how the person approaches the Throne of Grace, where Jesus Christ is sitting as the High Priest of the heavenly Temple, and therefore, the heavenly Order; not the Levitical order, but the Order of Melchizedek.

The believers in Christ also belong to that Order. God has made them priests of the Order of Melchizedek, they are also kings because God has made them kings; and that is the Order of David, and therefore it is from the Order of Melchizedek, who is the King of Salem. And they are also made judges; that is why the Scripture says in First of Corinthians, chapter 6, that the saints will judge the world, and even the angels.

In other words, those who make up the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ are forming the heavenly Family of God, and also forming all the members of the Judiciary Power for the Kingdom of the Messiah; and the heavenly priesthood Order that will be established on Earth in the Kingdom of the Messiah; and the political Order that will be established on Earth is also the Order of Melchizedek, it is the heavenly Order also known on Earth as the Kingdom of David and the Throne of David.

We will continue talking next Sunday. At this point, we can have a clear idea of “THE THRONE OF GRACE,” where Christ is as the High Priest interceding on behalf of each one of us and every person who receives Christ as Savior; it is the Throne He said He would sit on; which He did.

One day, when Christ leaves that Throne, it will become a Throne of judgment; it will no longer be a Throne of mercy. We will see that subject next Sunday.

It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, for this talk, this introduction to the subject of the Bible study for next Sunday’s Bible school, during which we expect great blessings from behalf God.

If there is anyone who has not yet received Christ as their Savior, you may do so now. If you are here or in another country, wherever you may be, you may come to the front and we will be praying for you; and thus, you will approach the Throne of Grace, of Grace and Mercy, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.

Let us pray for the persons that in different countries are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior.

With our heads bowed and our eyes closed:

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You at this time, with all these people in different countries who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. Receive them in Your Kingdom.

Lord Jesus Christ, receive all these people who are coming to Your Feet, and cleanse them from all sin with Your Blood, and Lord, give them eternal life. You are the only One who can give them eternal life; therefore, give them eternal life and place them in Your Kingdom. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray to You Lord. Amen.

Those in different countries who have come to the Feet of Christ may be baptized; and may Christ bless you, baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and bring forth the new birth in you. And we will continue to see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ.

May you all have a good evening; and I leave each minister with you in every country, and here, I leave reverend Samuel Garcia.

Until next Sunday, God willing, when we will continue with the corresponding Bible school.
