Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present here in São José dos Campos, Brazil, and also to all of you there in Cayey, Puerto Rico, and in other places that are connected by telephone or satellite.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each of you and also upon me, and may He speak directly to our hearts on this occasion, and may He open our understanding so that we understand the Scriptures relevant to this Last Day.
(Let’s go to the Scripture…)
In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Saint Matthew chapter 21, verse 1 and on, where it tells us… This was for the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. It tells us the following:
“And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.”
May God bless our hearts with His Word and allow us to understand It.
Our subject for this occasion is: “THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY OF THE SON OF DAVID INTO JERUSALEM.”
The Hebrew people had promises for that time linked to the Coming of the Messiah, and each promise relevant to the First Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled among the Hebrew people. They thought the Coming of the Messiah would only be one part, but the Coming of the Messiah has two parts.
The first part has already been fulfilled by Jesus Christ two thousand years ago, where the Messiah, the One anointed with the Spirit of God in all His fullness, appeared among the Hebrew people, was born in Bethlehem of Judea; He was taken to Egypt when Herod was searching for the children to kill them; and after Herod died, He went to Nazareth with Joseph and Mary, where He grew up.
Now, Jesus had been born in Bethlehem of Judea, and the Scripture that He had to be from Bethlehem of Judea was fulfilled, for thus it was written by the Prophet Micah, who in chapter 5, verse 2, prophesies of Bethlehem of Judea and of the Person who would be born there, who would rule the Hebrew people. And in Saint Matthew chapter 2, that prophecy was fulfilled.
Now, in the fulfillment of that prophecy, the heavens and the Earth were testifying of the First Coming of the Messiah as the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world.
He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, and He was laid in a manger. He was born among animals, for He was a Lamb, and that was also in accordance with His nature as the Lamb of God.
And the heavens were testifying of the Coming of the Messiah. And some wise men, in other words, some astrologers and astronomers (meaning, scientists who studied the skies), saw a great sign in heaven, and they understood that it was the sign of the Coming of the Messiah; and they knew that the Messiah had to come to the Hebrew people, He had to be born among the Hebrew people, according to the prophecies, and there would come a Star out of Jacob.1
And now, a sign was also shown in heaven, and those wise men saw it. And what happened? In chapter 2 of Saint Matthew, it says (verse 1 and on):
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.”
That is a Messianic prophecy for the First Coming of Christ; and it also applies to the Second Coming of Christ, to the heavenly Israel.
Because there is the earthly Israel, which is the Hebrew people, and there is the heavenly Israel, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Abraham’s earthly seed is the Hebrew people, and they have come through Isaac and Jacob and the patriarchs; but Abraham’s heavenly seed, of the heavenly Jerusalem and of the heavenly Israel, comes through Jesus Christ, who is Abraham’s seed through which that spiritual and heavenly seed of Abraham would come.
So, with a lot of understanding, let’s observe these things that happened in the earthly Israel and the entry of Jesus into the earthly Jerusalem; because the heavenly Israel and heavenly Jerusalem also have the promise of the Coming of the Messiah, of the Coming of Christ, for His entry into the heavenly Israel and heavenly Jerusalem, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And this promise must be fulfilled at the Last Day for the heavenly Israel and heavenly Jerusalem.
Let’s see in Saint Paul the Apostle’s Letter to the Hebrews, in chapter 12, verses 18 to 23, it tells us the following:
“For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched,” (meaning, Mount Sinai), “and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
When a person has believed in Christ as his Savior and has received His Spirit, he is in the heavenly Jerusalem, and therefore, he belongs to the heavenly Israel; he is a member of the mystical Body of Christ, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the heavenly Israel and also the heavenly Jerusalem.
Saint Paul, in his Letter to the Galatians, in chapter 4, verse 22 and on, tells us:
“For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.”
And the Hebrew people under the Dispensation of Law have been under that covenant obtained on Mount Sinai; and the children of the Hebrew people under the Dispensation of Law have been like Ishmael, they have been subject to that covenant of Mount Sinai.
“For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.”
And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the heavenly Jerusalem, is the freewoman; and the Hebrew people under the Dispensation of Law are the bondwoman, according to this allegory that Saint Paul presents.
And now, who are the ones that will obtain the inheritance? The children of the freewoman. The inheritance of Abraham, the father of faith, and God’s blessing that was in Abraham, the Birthright Blessing, was not received by Ishmael, but rather, by Isaac.
And now, the Birthright Blessing, notice, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One that receives It, because Christ has passed the blessing of Abraham on to His Gentile Church. The Scripture tells us about this in chapter 3 of the Letter to the Galatians, verses 13 to 16, and it tells us:
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree,” (and Christ was hung on a tree, on Calvary’s Cross, which was made of wood),
“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
And through faith in Christ, the person receives the promise of the Holy Spirit and obtains the new birth, which Christ spoke to Nicodemus about in chapter 3 of Saint John.
“Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Now, we can see that Abraham’s seed is Christ. And through Christ comes that heavenly seed of Abraham, comes the heavenly Jerusalem and the heavenly Israel, which are God’s sons and daughters written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, before the foundation of the world, who are manifested on Earth in the age and dispensation in which they are given to live; who hear the Word of God pertaining to their age and receive Christ and His Word, and come into the Divine Program, and are put in the age that pertains to them, under the ministry relevant to that age that Christ is manifesting in and through His messenger of that age; and through that messenger, He speaks to His children, to that heavenly seed. That is how He speaks to them in each stage or age: through the angel-messenger anointed with the Holy Spirit for that time.
Now we can see how important it is to understand the age and dispensation in which one is living, to be able to hear the Voice of God through the messenger anointed with the Holy Spirit at that time.
There are people who, because they don’t have this knowledge, reject the messenger, and don’t realize that they are rejecting the One who sent him: the Lord Jesus Christ; and some even speak badly about the messenger, without realizing that by doing so, they are speaking against Christ, who sent that messenger.
Every human being has his faults. And throughout the Bible we find that God’s prophets have also had faults, they have made mistakes sometimes; but God does not hold guiltless whoever speaks badly about a messenger that He has sent, because he is speaking against God’s Anointed One.
King David, before sitting on the throne, we find that he had to fight. He made so many mistakes, but he was God’s Anointed One; Samuel anointed him as king over Israel. Those who joined him and worked with him were in God’s perfect will. They didn’t look at his mistakes, instead they looked at God’s anointing that was in him as God’s Anointed One to be king over Israel. He was already king, because he was anointed, but he hadn’t sat on the throne yet; but he already had God’s anointing.
Now, David was persecuted by his father-in-law, Saul, who was the king in Israel and who didn’t want to let go of the throne; and he had already lost it before God, God had already rejected him, and He had chosen someone after God’s own heart, and he was a young man! But that was God’s Anointed One. He was anointed as a young man, let’s say he was about seventeen years old, more or less; but that was God’s Anointed One.
David had seven brothers who were older than him, but none of his brothers had been anointed to be the king of Israel, only David. His brothers were called to stand arm-in-arm with him; and everyone who knew of the anointing that Samuel had poured upon David was called to be on David’s side by Divine Order.
Now, David’s father-in-law persecuted David, he knew that this young man would be successful, and Saul would lose the throne; he had already lost it before God. He should have been smarter and said to David: “David, God has chosen you, He anointed you, I already know that, I heard the news, and I’m not going to fight you. My time has ended, I didn’t behave the way I should have, and I lost this blessing before God; now it’s your turn to sit on the throne. I will help you with everything you tell me to help you with, as a good father-in-law to you. I will always be by your side, working with you in God’s Program.” That was the right position that Saul should have taken.
But some people, when they are in a high position and they see that someone else is going to be put in that position, they wage war against them, so that they don’t reach that position, instead of giving them a hand and telling them: “God has chosen you to be in this position, and I’m going to help you.” And God blesses His Anointed One and He blesses whoever helps him.
If He says: “whoever will give to drink to one of these, My little ones, a cup of cold water, shall not lose his reward,”2 showing us that the most insignificant thing a person does in favor of one of God’s elect will not lose its reward, so what will it be like if the person does something great in favor of that Anointed One or elect of God? Well, the reward is greater. But whoever does something against [them], the Divine Judgment falls upon that person on this Earth, while he is living here, and then on Judgment Day as well.
Now, we can see that there are people who do little things against God’s Anointed One, God’s Anointed One for each age or for each dispensation, God’s anointed prophet of the time in which God sends him; and they don’t know that they are standing against God by doing this, even if it is something small; and if they do something big against God’s Anointed One, the problem they have is greater.
Now, King David, before he had taken the throne, while he was persecuted by King Saul, he had the opportunity to kill Saul and then sit on the throne faster; but notice what David said.
It says that on one occasion, King Saul was persecuting David, and when it was time to sleep, King Saul laid down, and his army, all of them laid around the king. But David went with one of his army officers, of David’s army; he was called Abishai, son of Zeruiah, meaning, a son of David’s sister; in other words, this officer in David’s army was his nephew, just like Joab. Those people who stood beside David as important officers were David’s nephews.
Now, we find that David went down with Abishai. Let’s read here in First Samuel chapter 26, verse 6 and on:
“Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.”
It was dangerous, because he was going to go into the cave where King Saul was. He was sleeping, but if he woke up, with his army there, he would have taken David, because he was looking for him. And now David is going to go where Saul is.
“So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day,” (that is what David’s nephew says to David), “now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time,” (that is, because he would die from the first one).
“And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?”
And even though Saul had sinned against God, David respected Saul because he had been anointed as king by Samuel; and despite being God’s anointed one for that stage, despite David also being anointed to be king over Israel, he didn’t wage war against him or kill him when he had the opportunity, instead, he spared his life, because King Saul was God’s anointed one. And even though David was also anointed by God, he didn’t do anything against Saul, he respected the anointing of God that was put in Saul.
It says:
“…Who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?”
Because no one who stretches forth his hand against an anointed of God is then guiltless before God; he will not be guiltless, rather, he will be guilty before God.
So, David didn’t stretch forth his hand, nor did he allow his nephew to do it against Saul. That shows respect and reverence to God and to the anointing of God that had been poured upon that man who was anointed by Samuel.
Now we can see a clear picture of what an anointed of God is.
Let’s look at the case of Jesus Christ: all those who stood against Him are found guilty before God. Throughout the Scripture we can see that they persecuted Him, they spoke against Him so that the people wouldn’t hear Jesus; but the people were seeing the Lord’s Anointed One in Jesus. And Anointed One means ‘Christ,’ and it means ‘Messiah,’ it is the same thing. Christ, Messiah, and Anointed One are the same thing.
Now, Jesus, the Lord’s Anointed with the Holy Spirit, on one occasion went to Nazareth, where He had been brought up, and He took the Scripture of Isaiah chapter 61, which was given to Him, and He read where it says:
[Luke 4:17-18] “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.”
Which Spirit was upon Jesus Christ? The Spirit of the Lord. And the religious leaders were saying that He was Beelzebub, and that He cast out devils with the finger of Beelzebub. That is what they would say about Jesus. They were speaking against Jesus and they were saying that the Spirit that was in Him was Beelzebub’s and not the Lord’s; and that is blasphemy.
When a person sees that a messenger of God has a Spirit of God in him or the Spirit of God manifested, carrying out the things pertaining to that time, if the person says that this is of the devil and that what is in the person is a spirit of the devil: he is blaspheming against the Spirit that is in the person.
And that is why it is very important that every person sees and hears and holds his tongue, and doesn’t speak against what he doesn’t understand, so that he doesn’t blaspheme against God; because then he’ll have serious problems before God. It is better for him to wait—if he doesn’t understand—and to pray to God, and to ask God to open his understanding so that he understands what is happening; and that way God opens his understanding, and he will be able to understand God’s Program that is being carried out through God’s Anointed One of that time; and he will be able to see that it’s the Spirit of God that is manifested in that person anointed by God for that time and for that work and for that age and for that dispensation.
That is how it was with the Old Testament prophets, that is how it was with Jesus Christ, that is how it was with the apostles, that is how it was with Saint Paul, and that is how it was with the different angel-messengers of each age. They were the anointed ones, in other words, the messiahs of their age, anointed with the Spirit of Christ in the age in which God sent them. And Jesus Christ is the Anointed One, the Messiah, the Christ, anointed with the fullness of God.
And now, at the Last Day, we have the promise of the Coming of a Messenger anointed with the Spirit of God, with the Seal of the living God, and it is found in Revelation chapter 7, verse 2, where it tells us;
“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel,” (and it starts to list twelve thousand of each tribe).
This Angel-Messenger comes with the Seal of the living God. Which is the Seal of the Living God? Saint Paul, in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 30, says:
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
In other words, until the Day that the dead in Christ will rise in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be changed. By that Last Day when this will take place, God’s elect, the members of the mystical Body of Christ, will have been sealed with the Holy Spirit: upon believing in Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit.
Now, this Angel-Messenger comes with the Seal of the living God, he comes with the Holy Spirit; and the way to receive the Holy Spirit is by believing in Jesus Christ as our Savior. This Angel-Messenger is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, and that is why he receives the Seal of the living God, he is sealed with the Seal of the living God, with the Seal of the Holy Spirit.
Now, we can see that this Angel-Messenger is the One anointed with the Holy Spirit for the ministry of the Last Day. In other words, just as there was a messenger anointed with the Holy Spirit in each age and dispensation of the Old Testament and also of the New Testament, this Angel-Messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom comes anointed with the Holy Spirit for the ministry of the Last Day.
That is the last ministry that Jesus Christ will be manifesting on Earth, and that is why he is first sent to His Church, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ: to testify these things which must shortly come to pass, and so that the elect are called and gathered with the Great Voice of Trumpet, meaning, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
Because it’s as King of kings and Lord of lords that Jesus Christ comes at the Last Day and enters into the heavenly Jerusalem, into His Church, which is also the heavenly Israel.
Now, we can see that at this end time, Christ would have a ministry, manifesting it here on Earth in human flesh; it is the ministry of Jesus Christ pertaining to the Last Day through His Angel-Messenger, His Anointed with the Holy Spirit at the Last Day.
That is why in Revelation chapter 10, Christ coming down from Heaven cries as when a lion roars: because He comes as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords; and Seven Thunders utter Their Voices. It is the Voice of Christ speaking a complete Message to us, a dispensational Message, with which He makes known to us the mystery of His Coming, the mystery of the Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
Now, the things that Christ has promised to carry out at the Last Day, He will be carrying them out through His Anointed One. Through His Anointed One, we will see the fulfillment of the Divine Promises pertaining to the Last Day.
In Revelation chapter 1, verses 10 to 11, Saint John the Apostle tells us:
“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day.”
He was on which day? The Lord’s Day; in other words, he was transported to the decade of the ‘90s of the fifth millennium, he was transported to this end time. In other words, he was transported to the Last Day to see and hear the things that he saw and heard in these apocalyptic visions; visions and things that he saw and heard. And who showed them to him? Let’s read what John says, and let him be the one to tell us who showed him these things. In Revelation chapter 22, verses 6 to 10, he tells us:
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel…”
That Angel is the Anointed One of Jesus Christ for the Last Day. Now, what does He send him for?
“…Sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
No one will be able to understand these things which must shortly be done unless it’s through the Message of the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, because he is sent to make these things known. He is the only one who will understand these things, and then, those who will receive him will be able to understand them; because they will be receiving his Message, and all these things which must shortly be done will be revealed in his Message, and the things that have already happened will be identified.
It goes on to say:
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
Why are they blessed? Because these words are the words of Jesus Christ, sent through His Angel-Messenger. This is the Angel-Messenger who brings the revelation of Jesus Christ.
“And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.”
Who showed Saint John the Apostle all these things from Revelation? The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And John wanted to worship him, but he forbade him, because the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Prophet-Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, who comes with the revelation of Jesus Christ for the Last Day, to have the ministry of the Last Day, of the seventh millennium; and so that Jesus Christ manifests Himself through His Angel-Messenger and speaks to His Church all these things which must happen.
In other words, through His Angel-Messenger, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifesting Himself and will be speaking to His Church all these things which must shortly be done; and He will be calling and gathering all His elect with the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ coming to the heavenly Jerusalem and to the heavenly Israel, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And in His triumphal entry into the heavenly Jerusalem and the heavenly Israel, we find that He comes as the Son of man and Son of David, as King of kings and Lord of lords, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.
In the triumphal entry of Christ into Jerusalem, we find that the Coming of Christ at the Last Day as Son of man and Son of David was also reflected.
Son of man means prophet. Whenever ‘Son of man’ is mentioned, a prophet is on the scene, in other words, it is the manifestation of God in human flesh in a prophet for that age or that dispensation.
And now, we find that through His Angel-Messenger, Jesus Christ will be working at the Last Day and will be fulfilling the things He promised.
In His First Coming, Jesus Christ, the Son of man, said: “And blessed is he who shall not be offended in Me.”3 Why? Because people always stumble over the veil of flesh, God’s Anointed One; that’s how it has been in all ages and dispensations. For He will not hold guiltless whoever does evil against God’s Anointed One of the age or dispensation in which the person is living.
Now we can see who is the Anointed of Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit at the Last Day. And together with him, all of God’s elect of the Last Day will be called and gathered with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; and thus, everyone will be hearing the Voice of Christ, and everyone will be gathered in the Lord’s Fold, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the age pertaining to the Last Day, to be changed and raptured soon.
Now we can see where we are in the Divine Program.
Just as there were signs in heaven in the birth of Jesus, and there was that sign in the sky called the Star of Bethlehem, which the wise men followed, because that Star was testifying that the Messiah, God’s Anointed One, was already on Earth.
Now, Christ spoke regarding the Last Day, regarding the end time, and He tells us that there will be signs in heaven and also on Earth; and He teaches us that when these things begin to come to pass, to lift up our heads to heaven because our redemption draws near, in other words, our transformation is near.
It says in Saint Luke chapter 21, verse 25 and on:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,” (in other words, wake up; and this is spiritually speaking, to awaken out of our sleep, to wake up),
“and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
We must lift up our heads to Heaven, meaning, to the heavenly things, to the things of God. It’s not time to have our heads facing down to Earth, looking at the earthly things, but to have our heads lifted up to Heaven looking at the heavenly things, looking at the things of God, looking at the Divine Program, and serving Jesus Christ with all our soul; because our redemption, our transformation is near.
On February 28, 1963, this cloud appeared in the sky, and they called it a mysterious cloud.4 Why a mysterious cloud? Because it was twenty-six miles high,5 where there is no moisture to form clouds and where airplanes can’t fly; therefore, it was a cloud that they did not know what it was made of, because nothing can form a cloud that high up. And it was approximately thirty miles across by fifty miles long;6 in other words, it was a giant cloud. Where a small cloud couldn’t be formed, now a giant cloud is formed; because the things that are impossible with men are possible with God.7
This cloud appeared over the states of Arizona and New Mexico in North America. It appeared from 6:00 o’clock in the evening and on.
Now what is the mystery about this cloud? What is this cloud formed by? It is formed by angels of God. Just like the Hebrew people, we find that a Cloud covered them from the sun by day, and by night that Cloud was a Cloud of Fire, a Pillar of Fire, which lit the whole way for them; and they walked by night as if it were day, they walked in the light of God, they walked in the brightness of the Presence of God, lighting their way by night, and protecting them from the sun by day.8
Now, this cloud was formed by eight angels in their theophanic bodies. The seven angel-messengers of the seven Gentile Church ages were there, beginning with Saint Paul the Apostle and ending with William Marrion Branham, the seventh angel-messenger of the Gentile Church. And there was another Angel who was very different from the previous seven angels; and that Angel who was different from the rest was the One with the Seventh Seal.
Now, we find that each of the seven angel-messengers that were there in their theophanic bodies had come in human flesh in the age they were given to live; and then that other Angel-Messenger would be on Earth in human flesh at the Last Day.
Christ would be manifested in His Angel-Messenger at the Last Day, to carry out the Work of the Last Day, and thus, for the adoption of all the sons and daughters of God promised for the Last Day, for the Day of Redemption, for the seventh millennium, to be carried out, where the dead in Christ will rise and we who are alive will be changed.
Now, we can see the great blessing there is for God’s elect who live at the Last Day. And for those who died, there is also a great blessing for them, because they will rise at the Last Day in eternal bodies, to live young for all eternity; they will never get old, because they will be in the eternal body; and we who are alive will be changed and will also have the eternal body.
Now, if one of our own goes before the resurrection, don’t worry: he will come back. And when he comes back, he will not come back in an old body, or in a sick body, instead, he will come back in a young body.
So if you knew believers in Jesus Christ who received His Spirit, and therefore were born again: if they died, when they come back don’t expect an old man or an old woman to tell you: “I am So-and-so;” expect to see a young man or young woman who will tell you: “I am So-and-so.” And in the conversation, he or she will be able to talk to you about many things that happened in the past and that you know about; and when he or she speaks to you about those things, you will realize that it is the person that you knew.
Now, when our family members who have departed rise (and who were believers and came into the relevant age of the time in which they were given to live), they will be able to speak to you and tell you things that only you know and that you know that they knew.
In other words, for example, they might say to you: “Do you remember that coin I put in a certain place, which you found and went to buy candy with? You remember?” When he tells you that, if something like that happened to you, you will say: “Only my grandpa knew that. I took that coin from my grandpa.”
Now, that doesn’t mean it’s right to take what doesn’t belong to you, but if you did that, it’s a memory that you have, and he can remind you of that, or any other experience that you remember; and if you don’t remember it, you will remember it when he reminds you of it, when he mentions it to you. In other words, they are simple things, but things you know.
Now, we can see that this will be something wonderful, something glorious, when the dead in Christ rise; because that is when we will be changed: when we see them.
Remember, when you see them don’t be afraid, it won’t be to scold you; rather, that moment will be for you to be changed, because when we see them we will be changed.
Now, we can see the Divine Program and the blessings there are for us at this time.
The Hebrew people rejected Christ in His First Coming (the Hebrew people as a nation); but there were people who received Him as individuals, and later on they received His Holy Spirit.
And at the Last Day, the Second Coming of Christ will be manifested and will be seen and received by God’s elect; and they are the ones who will be hearing the Voice of Christ, the Last Trumpet or the Great Voice of Trumpet, and they are the ones who will be filled with the Holy Spirit in all His fullness. They are the ones who, at the Last Day, will be changed, because they will be filled with the fullness of Christ, and they will obtain an eternal and glorious body; and we will all be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.
Now we can see that, for our transformation, the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work, entering into the heavenly Jerusalem and the heavenly Israel, is a requirement of the Divine Program, so that later on the transformation of us who are alive and the resurrection of the dead in Christ may take place.
That is why the Seven Thunders utter their Voices in the Coming of Christ: it is the Voice of Christ giving us His Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, His Message of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
And that is how we would hear the Voice of Christ, that Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, calling us and gathering us at this Last Day, so that we may be changed and raptured soon.
We have been seeing the signs in heaven, they are testifying what Jesus Christ is doing on Earth.
These days, a great sign has been appearing, and it is a comet: the Comet Hale-Bopp; and these days it has been appearing in the constellation Cygnus, in Brazil, from 6:30 in the evening to 7:30 in the evening; that is, from 18:30 to 19:30; but you have to look for it in the constellation Cygnus, around there. It is bigger than Earth, but you might see it small, because it’s in an area that’s far away; but that’s close, because last year it was further away, in other words, this is the time when it is closest to the Earth and to the sun.
This comet had passed through our solar system, or through our galaxy, four thousand years ago, and its return is a great sign for the human race, it is a great sign for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is a great sign for the Hebrew people.
Christ said we would see signs in heaven, and they are being seen.
No one expected the coming of this comet, but it was discovered around the year 1995, more or less, in the month of July; and now it is already being seen from Earth around this time.
So, those who are able to see it can tell me about it afterwards. I tried to see it yesterday, but I couldn’t, because you have to focus your binoculars on the place where it is, and I didn’t know which area it was in yesterday. This whole time it has been in that same area; but when you don’t know where the constellation Cygnus is, you start looking for it all over the sky and can’t find it. You have to know the place where that constellation is and look for it in that territory. It is the same way in the Divine Program that God carries out here on Earth.
The First Coming of Christ was promised in the Scripture, but people couldn’t say: “I am going to wait for Him in Egypt, or I am going to wait for Him in France, or I am going to wait for Him in England;” His birth had to be in Bethlehem of Judea, that was the place to expect Him in His birth. And when the wise men saw the sign in the sky, they went to Jerusalem, they went to the land of Israel.
These people lived in Babylon, there in Chaldea, and they were believers in the prophecies; they had the prophecies of the Prophet Daniel and other prophets, and they were descendants of the Hebrews, because the Prophet Daniel lived there and he had children there too, and so did Daniel’s friends or companions: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, also lived there, and they had a family there; in other words, they had their children there, they were very important people.
And they had all those prophecies; therefore, they were waiting for the Coming of the Stone cut out without hands, the Coming of the Messiah. And when they saw the sign in heaven or in the sky, they knew that the Messiah was already on Earth.
They went to the land of Israel looking for the Messiah in Jerusalem, and He wasn’t there; because He would be in Jerusalem from year to year in the feasts He went to with His parents, or with Mary and Joseph, and then in His ministry He would go there from time to time; and the last time He would go to Jerusalem He would be crucified, and then He would rise, and after forty days He would ascend to Heaven.
Now we find that the magi or wise men went to the right nation, the land of Israel; but by going to Jerusalem, they went to the wrong city. But through the Scriptures, they knew which city the Messiah had to be born in; and they went to Bethlehem of Judea and found the Messiah there.
Now, the First Coming of Christ was fulfilled in the East, the land of Israel; the Coming of the Son of man as the lightning that comes out of the East (the land of Israel, where the First Coming of Christ took place) and shines, manifests itself, in the West; the West is the continent of the Americas, including the Caribbean.
The continent of the Americas has the northern part, the central part, and the southern part, and the Caribbean. The seventh age of the Gentile Church was fulfilled in North America, in the northern part of the continent of the Americas, in the northern part of the West (the West is the Western Hemisphere).
And now, since the promise of the Coming of the Son of man is to shine in the West, we only have Latin America and the Caribbean left for the Son of man to shine as the lightning in His Coming at the Last Day.
In some nations, there are sages or magi or gurus, and people like that, who have come from Europe and other nations to live in Latin America, because they say that a destruction is coming upon the Earth but that Latin America will survive. They also say that Melchizedek would be in Latin America.
Where does it say that, Salomón? In Mato Grosso. Oh, but that’s here in Brazil. They say it’s in an area where there is also like a UFO port, is it? A UFO landing strip, because it’s for UFOs or flying saucers; they say that exists. That was made here for them to land.
Here in Brazil they have a few UFO landing strips they have made for flying saucers to land, because a lot of flying saucers are being seen here; and here in Brazil, well, they are very interested in the visit of those who come in those flying saucers; they have even made them a UFO landing strip so that they land there. In other words, it is a work made in good faith for travelers in flying saucers.
Now, we find that similar things are happening in all of Latin America, and in the Caribbean too.
When Noah was on Earth, God came down and spoke with Noah. In the time of Abraham too: God appeared to Abraham as Melchizedek,9 in other words, God in the theophanic body of the sixth dimension. He also appeared to him on another occasion as Elohim, and He ate with Abraham,10 and then came the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in the early morning.11
In other words, for the children of God it is a sign of great blessings, but for the world it is a sign of the Divine Judgment that will fall upon the human race, a Divine Judgment called the vials and the plagues that will fall in the Great Tribulation. Those are the Divine Judgments of the Great Tribulation, for the Gentile kingdom to be removed and to make way for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, and for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ to be established in Jerusalem, for the Son of David to be established on the Throne of David, in order to reign over the Hebrew people and over all the nations.
Now we can see where we are at this time: we are at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium, hearing the Voice of Jesus Christ, that Great Voice of Trumpet making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, to thus be prepared for our transformation and to escape the Divine Judgments that will come upon the Earth.
We are living in the most glorious time of all times. We are living in a time parallel to the time of the First Coming of Christ, and we are living in a time parallel to the triumphal entry of the Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, the triumphal entry of the Son of David into Jerusalem.
Now, first the triumphal entry of the Son of David into the heavenly Jerusalem, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as Son of man and Son of David, with Christ being manifested at the Last Day among His Gentile Church, and speaking to us with the Great Voice of Trumpet through His Angel-Messenger all these things that He promised would be fulfilled.
And then He will also go into the earthly Jerusalem. At that time, when the Hebrew people will receive Him in His Second Coming as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work, He comes as Son of man and Son of David, as King of kings and Lord of lords; that is how the Hebrew people will receive Him in His Second Coming; and He will sit on the Throne of David.
There will be battles, like David had, but in the end he sat on the throne and reigned over the Hebrew people. No matter what battles arise, at the end of the battles the Victory in Love Divine will be obtained, and Jesus Christ will sit on the Throne of David as Son of David and as Son of man at the Last Day; and he that overcomes will sit with Him.
And the one that will overcome will be the last Angel-Messenger, who will overcome at the Last Day. Because the other angel-messengers overcame in past ages, they overcame on the fifth Day before God, which was the fifth millennium, and the others overcame in the sixth millennium, which was the sixth Day before God; but the Overcomer of the Last Day before God, of the seventh Day before God, of the seventh millennium, is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And: “To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My Throne,” Jesus Christ has said in Revelation chapter 3, verse 21. And also in Revelation chapter 21, verse 7, it tells us that “He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.” In other words, he will be a son, he won’t be a servant but a son; because the children are the ones who inherit, not the servants.
It has to be a son; and that Overcomer of the Last Day will be a son of God, he will be a son of Jesus Christ: he will be the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And the elect of the Last Day will be with him, who will overcome together with him, and will be adopted and changed; and we shall reign with Christ a thousand years and then for all eternity.
The seven angel-messengers will also be there with the group they had in their age; and we will all be there together in our eternal bodies, we will be adopted in the Kingdom of God. And there will be a great manifestation of the sons and daughters of God at this Last Day, with eternal bodies; in other words, there will be millions of sons and daughters of God with eternal bodies in the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And if so many things happened two thousand years ago with One (so many wonderful things that were done according to God’s will), what will it be like with millions who will be in eternal bodies at this Last Day? It will be a very wonderful time, filled with the blessings of Jesus Christ. And there will be no limitations in terms of the things that God will be doing through His elect, through all His children, who will be adopted at the Last Day; and they will be under the leadership of Jesus Christ manifested in His Angel-Messenger.
By that time, His Angel-Messenger will also be adopted with his eternal body; and all of you too.
So, we can see the time in which we are living, and we can see the importance of the triumphal entry of the Son of David into Jerusalem; which also testifies of the Second Coming of Christ and His triumphal entry into His Church, into the heavenly Jerusalem and the heavenly Israel, for the Work pertaining to the Last Day: the Claiming Work, which Jesus Christ is to carry out as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
“THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY OF THE SON OF DAVID INTO JERUSALEM.” That has been our subject for this occasion.
For those who are in Puerto Rico, I will be with you next Friday at 3:00 in the afternoon, because it’s Good Friday; and we will have the service at 3:00 in the afternoon, to thus receive what God has for us. We will be seeing the crucifixion of Christ two thousand years ago, and the benefits obtained through the death of Christ. And we will also be seeing the spiritual crucifixion of Christ for the Last Day or for the end time.
So, for those in Puerto Rico, remember, I will be with you next Friday, Good Friday, this week that has begun today; and then I will also be here on Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon.
And for those who are in the service at 8:00 in the morning, on Friday I will tell you if we will have a special service at 8:00 in the morning or before 8:00 in the morning; and we will also have the regular service at 10:00 in the morning, and then the service at 3:00 in the afternoon. Miguel will also be with us, and Dr. Nelly will also be in Puerto Rico, she arrives today (Sunday) in Puerto Rico, and so she will be with us to spend the days of Holy Week with us in Puerto Rico.
Well, may God continue to bless you all and may God keep you.
And we will see each other again in an hour, or an hour and a half, to continue seeing what happened two thousand years ago under the ministry of Jesus Christ, and what is happening at this Last Day among God’s sons and daughters.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each one of you and also upon me. And soon may we all be changed and raptured.
Let’s ask Miguel to come around here to continue and conclude our participation, and so that we have a break to eat something, and then come back and continue the services.
Here we have Miguel. Miguel tells me that 3:00 in the afternoon is a good time, so, we will be with you again at 3:00 in the afternoon to continue, and thus, receive the blessings that God has for us this afternoon.
May God continue to bless you and keep you all.
