The Two Sticks of Israel in the Hand of the Son of Man – Introduction

Good evening beloved friends and brethren present, and those in different nations, ministers and congregations in all the different countries. Also, a very special greeting for missionary, Dr. Miguel Bermudez Marin, over there in Chile, in Santiago de Chile, in the congregation where reverend Patricio Lara is, minister of the congregation of Santiago de Chile, where Miguel Bermudez Marin is at this time. Greetings to the entire congregation and those in all countries connected on this occasion.

On this occasion let us read in Ezekiel, chapter 38 and 37. Chapter 37… Verses 15 and on of chapter 37 of Ezekiel, where it says:

“The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.”

Today we have the introduction to next Sunday morning’s Bible Study, titled: “THE TWO STICKS OF ISRAEL IN THE HAND OF THE SON OF MAN.”

Therefore, on this occasion we will have a short introduction to preface the Bible study, of next Sunday’s Bible study.

The Kingdom of David will consist of the twelve tribes of Israel, ten of which are known as the lost tribes, but God has promised to gather them and join them together with the other two tribes in the land of Israel; which will be the restoration of Israel in the Kingdom of God, called the Kingdom of David, which will be restored; and the Throne of David will be restored, in which the Prince Messiah will sit on in His Coming to start the Messianic Kingdom promised to Israel; a Kingdom that will cover the entire Earth.

Because all nations will be under divine command through the Prince Messiah; and consequently, nations who survive the great tribulation that will fall upon the Earth (which will last three and a half years) will belong to that Kingdom, and then comes the establishment of the Kingdom of the Messiah, which will be the restoration of the Kingdom of David and the Throne of David. All nations will be ruled by that Throne.

Therefore, in Isaiah, chapter 9, it speaks to us about that Prince that will come, the Prince Messiah, and it says that He will bring peace to Israel. The everlasting peace for the Hebrew people is promised to be granted in the Kingdom of the Messiah; that is why the Kingdom of the Messiah promised to Israel is so important.

It will be a Kingdom of peace that will cover all the Earth, because the King, the Prince Messiah, is the Prince of Peace for Israel and all the nations, and consequently of every human being.

In Hosea it says that after three days (which are three millenniums), on the third day (after two days, after two millenniums), on the third day, the third millennium, God will revive Israel. Hosea, chapter 6, verse 1 and on, says:

“Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.”

Here we have the promise of a spiritual awakening in which God will revive Israel and He will establish them in His Messianic Kingdom, which is promised throughout the Scriptures.

Also, in Matthew, chapter 17, we have the order of the Coming of the Messiah. And it says:

“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”

Here we have the order of the Coming of the Lord in the Last Day. And reverend William Branham says in the message “The Patmos Vision,” regarding the book of “The Seven Church Ages, preached on December 4, 1960, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, North America, says:

“Now, notice, before Jesus returns to the earth… Now, this is a little ahead of time, but the Spirit of Elijah will return back to the earth and turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers. The Bible said so. Jesus saw him here; the apostles saw him here, the order of the coming of the Son of man glorified. He’s to be glorified and coming back. The first thing, before they saw Him, was what? Elijah. Then what? Moses; Israel returning yonder, the law-keepers, and then the glorified Son of man. Hallelujah. Do you see the order of His coming? The Spirit of Elijah, or the witness of the last church age (See?), coming in power to manifest Him.”

The order of the Coming of Christ, of the Second Coming of Christ, is shown on Mount Transfiguration. In other words, on Mount Transfiguration was shown what the Coming of the Messiah will be in this end time in with His Angels as stated in Matthew, chapter 24, verses 30 to 31, which says:

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other…”

And verse 27 of the same chapter 24 of Matthew, says:

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Remember that Son of Man is a title of a prophet. When God manifests Himself through a prophet, a Son of Man is present for the manifestation of God by His Spirit in the midst of His people.

Therefore, by knowing the prophetic title, Son of Man, we can see the promises there are for all the believers of the Last Day, believers in Christ, who await the Coming of the Lord.

In Matthew, chapter 16, verse 27 to 28, it says:

“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”

And remember that the Kingdom in the spiritual realm is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, made up of the believers in Christ who have entered into the Kingdom of God.

Colossians, chapter 2… Let us read a part of Colossians, chapter 1, so that we have a clear picture, to understand when we speak about the Coming of the Lord to His Kingdom in the Last Day. Colossians, chapter 1, verses 12 to 13 says:

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light…”

Remember that the saints in light are the believers in Christ. They are the children of light, they are the wheat, which Christ referred to in the parable of the wheat and the tares; and in Ephesians it also speaks of the children of light, the children of God.

“…Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son…”

We have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, where the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is found in the spiritual realm. Notice, Christ said in John, chapter 3, to Nicodemus: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man is born again, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.”

It is by being born again that we enter into the Kingdom of God, we are born in the Kingdom of God; just like to enter into this earthly world, which is ruled by the prince of darkness, we must be born on this Earth. He who is not born, does not enter into the earthly kingdom that is currently in effect on this Earth.

And now, to enter into the Kingdom of God the new birth is required, to be born in the Kingdom of God. And later on, they have the promise of a resurrection on this Earth, where they will resurrect in glorified, eternal and young bodies; and the believers in Christ in the Mystical Body of Christ who are alive, will be transformed. And after a stay here, for about 30 to 40 days, the rapture of the believers in Christ will take place to go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, where the Church will be invested with Christ as King and Queen, to reign in the Millennial Kingdom of the Prince Messiah on this Earth.

And the Throne will be in Jerusalem; it will be the Kingdom of David and the Throne of David promised in Ezekiel, chapter 37, verse 14 and on, where the two sticks, the two staffs of command of the Kingdom of David or the Kingdom of Israel… which consists of the northern tribes (the ten tribes) and the southern tribes: Judah, with its tribe, to complete the twelve tribes.

In order for the Kingdom of the Messiah to be established, the twelve tribes of Israel must be joined for the establishment of the Kingdom of the Messiah, with Jerusalem as the capital, the Federal District will be all the territory of Israel; and the people of Israel will have the promised Temple and will have God dwelling in the midst of the people, seated upon the Throne of David, God in the Prince Messiah promised for the Hebrew people.

God’s blessing will be there, as well as the peace of Israel and of all nations. War weapons will be turned into work tools, swords will become agricultural tools, and so on; because the Prince Messiah will bring peace to Israel; and Elijah will be in his fifth manifestation proclaiming Israel in this end time.

Therefore, the first thing the Jews will see will be Elijah in his fifth manifestation, proclaiming everlasting peace in the Kingdom of the Messiah; and then further on, they will see Moses; and then they will come to see the Prince Messiah, they will see the Son of Man glorified.

That is the order of the Coming of the Lord for the end time with His Angels, which are the ministries of Moses and Elijah in the end time, wherein the Dispensation of Grace will end and the introduction of the Kingdom of God will take place.

Notice what it says on page 546 of the book of “The Seven Seals.” Reverend William Branham says:

“This time was between the Sixth and Seventh Seal, that He calls these people, spoken of by Jesus in Matthew the 24th chapter and the 31st verse… When the trumpet sounds, is the trumpet of the two witnesses of the age of grace for the Jews. One trumpet sound… Now notice over here, 31st. ‘And he shall send forth his angels (not one, see; there’s two of them) with a great sound of a trumpet.’ What is it? When God gets ready to speak, there’s a sound of a trumpet. That’s always His Voice. It’s calling to battle, see. God speaks. These angels will come forth with the sounding of the trumpet.”

And why do these Angels come, these ministries of Elijah and Moses? To call one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews to the Divine Program for the Messianic Age or Messianic Stage, which will open its doors in this end time.

Therefore, the two sticks of command that Judah and Joseph have in the hand of Ephraim will be joined; and they will become one stick in the hand of the Son of Man.

The title of Son of Man (like the other titles) has an inheritance. For example, the Son of Abraham has the royal inheritance to what was promised to Abraham. The title of Son of David has as inheritance the Kingdom and Throne of David to be restored, established on Earth, and its capital be Jerusalem and the Federal District will be the entire territory of Israel; which many peoples will join in order to receive the messianic blessings in the Kingdom of David from the Throne of David.

Son of God. As the Son of God, the Prince Messiah is the King of Heaven and Earth; that is why He is seated on the Throne of God as King, just as He said: that He would sit at the right hand of God. And then, in Matthew, chapter 28, verses 16 and on, says… once He resurrected and was with His disciples, before departing, He tells them: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Therefore, as Son of God, the inheritance is Heaven and Earth, as King, as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

And as Son of Man, He is the heir to the entire planet Earth, including all nations and all human beings. And as Son of David, He is the heir to the Throne and Kingdom of Israel, Kingdom and Throne of David.

Therefore, there will be a great blessing in this end time, in the promise of the joining of the two sticks of Israel in the hand of the Son of Man, in the hand of the One who will inherit the entire planet Earth with all its nations; because that inheritance is contained in the title of Son of Man.

That is why God spoke so much through Ezekiel and Jeremiah and other prophets about the Son of Man; because every prophet is a Son of Man; because the Word always comes to a prophet to be conveyed to God’s people in the corresponding time.

Now we have seen that just as the two sticks of the power of the Kingdom, which identify Him as King, will be in the Hand of the Son of Man in His Coming in the end time.

The promise of the Coming of the Son of Man will have both sticks in the hand. And when it says “both sticks,” these are the two staffs of command of the northern kingdom and the southern kingdom.

Luke, chapter 21, verse 27, says:

“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (the redemption of the body, our transformation).”

When we see these things, when we start seeing these things, our redemption, our transformation is near.

Therefore, let us be prepared, because something major from behalf of God will take place in this end time, which will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And then the Word, God, will go on to deal with the Hebrew people for the restoration of the Kingdom of David on this Earth, as it is promised in Ezekiel, chapter 37, verses 15 to 29.

And in this end time, everything is being prepared for the fulfillment of what was also seen on Mount Transfiguration, where the order of the Coming of the Messiah with His Angels was shown, which there were Moses and Elijah speaking with the Lord Jesus about His departure to Jerusalem. It is as simple as that.

“THE TWO STICKS OF ISRAEL IN THE HAND OF THE SON OF MAN.”

It has been a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, in this introduction to the subject of next Sunday, of Sunday school, where we expect the blessings of God; and may He open the Scriptures to us and open our understanding in order to comprehend everything about this subject which we have had an introduction to on this occasion.

May God bless and keep all of you; and continue having a happy evening.

Since this is also being broadcast and in other countries they are gathered, let us give an opportunity for those who have not received Christ yet, so they may come to the Feet of Christ this evening, those in different countries and also those who are here present.

Anyone who has not yet received Christ may still receive Him on this occasion if by listening to the Word the faith of Christ was born in your soul, in your heart. Therefore, you may come forward and we will be praying for you on this occasion.

And children ten years of age and older can also come to the Feet of Christ, to be included in the prayer we will be making for everyone receiving Christ as their Savior on this occasion.

Let us wait a few minutes while those in other countries come to the front to receive Christ as their only and sufficient Savior.

Let us stand to pray for the people who are coming to the Feet of Christ our Savior.

With our heads bowed and our eyes closed:

Heavenly Father, I come to You with all these people who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. Receive them in Your Kingdom. I pray to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Now, those who have come to the Feet of Christ at this time, repeat this prayer after me:

Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my soul, in my heart.

I believe in You with all my soul. I believe in Your Name as the only name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. I believe in Your First Coming and I believe in Your Work of Redemption, Your death on Calvary’s Cross as the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins.

I acknowledge that I am a sinner and need a Savior.

I give public testimony of my faith in You and of Your faith in me, and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.

I pray that you forgive my sins and with Your Blood cleanse me from all sin; and baptize me with the Holy Spirit and Fire after I am baptized in water in Your Name, and may You bring forth the new birth in me.

I want to be born in Your Kingdom. I want to live eternally with You in Your Kingdom. Make a reality in me the salvation, the redemption You won for me on Calvary’s Cross. I pray to You in Your Eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

And now, those who have come to the Feet of Christ will ask: “When can you baptize me? Because Christ said: ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.’” [Mark 16:15-16]

Those who have come to the Feet of Christ in this time will say: “I have believed with all my soul, and I want to be baptized as soon as possible.”

Christ Himself was baptized by John the Baptist, and if Christ needed to be baptized, then the need is much greater for all of us, for every human being!

In water baptism, the person identifies himself with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Therefore, you may be baptized; and may Christ baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and bring forth the new birth in you. And we will continue to see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ, in the Kingdom of the Messiah, throughout eternity. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Therefore, those who have come to the Feet of Christ in different nations may be baptized.

I leave reverend Jose Benjamin Perez here, and in every nation I leave the corresponding minister to let you know what you must do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for all those who have come to the Feet of Christ on this occasion.

May God bless you and keep you; and continue having a happy evening filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

Until next Sunday, God willing.
