Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present, and all those who are in other nations, ministers and their congregations, today, Friday; or actually, Saturday, because days begin in the evening; for Jews it is already Saturday. And today, Saturday, we have the monthly meeting of the first Saturday of each month, with ministers, their helpers, and also all the brothers and sisters from all nations; different congregations, congregations in all countries.
On this occasion, let’s read in Saint John chapter 10, verses 27 to 30; and it says the following:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
I and my Father are one.”
“THE VOICE OF THE SIGN,” that is our subject for this occasion. And next Sunday we will continue speaking under this subject, under the title: “THE VOICE OF THE SIGN IN EACH TIME.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.
God gave Moses two signs, and then at the end, a third sign. The first sign was to be shown before the people, casting his rod down on the ground, which would turn into a snake, a serpent, and which Moses would then take by the tail and it would become a rod again. That sign was imitated by the magicians in Egypt.1
Then the second sign was to put his hand in his side, take it out, and it would come out leprous; then he would put it back into his bosom, and upon taking it out again, it would come out clean, as it was in the beginning.
Both rods – both signs represent Christ. Christ, the rod: the Word with which Moses would carry out the signs. And the hand becoming leprous: that was when Christ took our sins, and then we find that upon resurrecting, He came forth without any sins, because He left them there in hell, to the originator of sin, who is the devil; and Christ is glorified.
Then we find that the sign is always… the sign is always followed by the Voice: the Word of God. And it’s with the Word of God that the believers are spiritually fed: “He that is of God hears God’s Voice.” That is what Christ says in His Word.
He said2: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” That is the greatest identification of a sheep of the Lord: that he hears the Voice of God for the time in which he is living on Earth.
He, Christ, commanded His disciples to take the Gospel into all the world, and He gave them signs that they would carry out; but those signs were followed by the Voice of Christ, the Voice of the Gospel, as He promised when He said: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear My Voice; and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd.” That is in Saint John chapter 10, verse 16 and on.
The Voice of the Sign is the most important thing; therefore, the Voice is to be heard not only with our ears but with our soul, by believing It wholeheartedly. Because the promise is that Christ will call His sheep and put them in His Fold, which is His Church.
Then we find Moses, by Divine command, carrying out a very great sign: taking water in a pot and pouring it on the dry land (water from the river) and the water turning into blood, along with all the water in the river.3 That was already a sign of death for the fish, and, therefore, a sign of death for Egypt.
Rev. William Branham was also given two signs: a sign in the hand, where, by a person laying their hand on his hand, through vibrations he would know the illness that the person had; his hand would swell, and through the Spirit of God he would come to know the illnesses the person had; and he would pray for the person, and the illness would go away, and the hand would go back to how it was at the beginning.4 A sign in the hand, just as Moses was also given a sign in the hand.5
He was also given another sign, which was to know the secrets of people’s hearts; because the Word discerns the thoughts and the intents of people’s hearts.6
Those two signs were seen by thousands or millions of people when he showed them publicly. Those signs were imitated.
Behind the signs is always the Voice of God, the Word of God. If the Word, the Message of God for the time in which a person is living, is not present, the signs have no positive value for the children of God; because false prophets perform signs as well, but they are not followed by the Voice of God for the time in which they are living. Therefore, the signs, the signs that come from God, attract people, so that the person hears the Voice of God.
Now, the prophet had that first sign in the hand, the First Pull; then he had the second sign, that he discerned the thoughts of people’s hearts through the Spirit of God. Followed by the sign was also the Voice of God speaking to the people.
The sign is to draw the people’s attention, so that they sit and listen to the Voice of God.
Then there is another sign, another Pull, a Third Pull, a sample of which was given through Rev. William Branham, who had that third sign, that Third Pull, and behind it was the Voice of God.
That third sign at the Last Day will bring the Voice of God, the Word of God for the end time, to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through that Third Pull manifested in Rev. William Branham, the Word was spoken, and then things would happen. It was the Voice of God, the creative Voice of God through a man, the Holy Spirit speaking to the people.
That third sign, that Third Pull, will be repeated in the fulfillment of the vision that was given to Rev. William Branham: the Tent Vision. The sign of the Third Pull —at a certain time—will be there, and therefore, the Voice of God will be there speaking to His People, to His Church; and then He will speak to the Hebrew people.
Now, if the Voice of God is the One that is behind those Divine signs in each time, back in the time of Moses those signs were in the midst of the Hebrew people; then in the New Covenant those signs will be manifested in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We already saw the first and second sign manifested in Rev. William Branham, and we were given a sample of what the third sign will be: the Third Pull in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. A sample was given, through Rev. William Branham, of what God will do at the Last Day in all His fullness.
The Word of God, the Voice of God, will then be there speaking to His Church at the Last Day, and revealing to the Church what She needs to know in order to have the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
There is always a Divine order for God to speak to His people. Let’s remember that God speaks to His people through His Spirit, from stage to stage, from age to age, and now let’s see… because we don’t want to miss the Voice of God at this end time. Because the most important thing is the Voice of God, what He will be speaking to His Church.
As God worked in the Old Testament and then in His Church, that is how He will work at this end time. In the book of The Ages, page 155 and 156, Rev. William Branham says, he says… while reading, he says:
“‘He that hath an ear, let him (singular) hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.’”
Always, at the end of the Message for each age, in chapter 2 and chapter 3, where the seven churches appear represented in the seven churches in Asia Minor, at the end it always tells us: “He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” That is the Voice that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in each stage, each age, must hear: one Voice. Not many voices. One Voice alone. The Voice of Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church speaking to Her; speaking to Her the Message pertaining to each stage of His Church, where Christ will be quickening, in other words, making a reality every promise pertaining to each stage of His Church. That is what He will quicken. And with that Word He quickens us, from age to age.
“‘He that hath an ear, let him (singular) hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.’”
It’s because Christ said: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 20. And Saint Matthew chapter 18, verse 20, tells us: “Where two or three are gathered in My Name, I will be there.” In other words, Christ continues to accompany His Church. Even though His glorified physical body is in Heaven, on the Throne of God, Christ in Holy Spirit has been in the midst of His Church since the Day of Pentecost and on.
And He says: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Therefore, He is with us now as well.
He said: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when the Holy Spirit comes…” Chapter 16, verses 12 and on, of Saint John, says:
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,” (in other words, the Holy Spirit), “he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
In other words, it is Christ in Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit that was in Christ, He promised that He would be in His Church and would be making known to us the things they couldn’t bear back in that time. In other words, He would be making known; He says: “… he will shew you things to come.”
Therefore, the Spirit of Christ has been in the midst of His Church making known the things that the Church must know. And we find that Christ in Holy Spirit is the Angel of the Covenant, the same One who appeared in that Light in a bush that burned and was not consumed, there in chapter 3 of Exodus, on Mount Horeb, to the prophet Moses. The Scripture says that it was the Angel of God, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, whom Exodus chapter 23, verse 20 and on, speaks to us about, where it says:
“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
For mine Angel shall go before thee…”
This Angel is none other than the Holy Spirit, Christ in Holy Spirit appearing to Moses and delivering the Hebrew people from bondage in Egypt, and taking them through the wilderness towards the promised land.
That is why the Scripture tells us that the Law was given by a commission of Angels. Hebrews chapter 2. And also in the book of Acts we are told about the same subject. “The Law was given by the commission of Angels,” the Scripture tells us.
And if it was given by the commission of Angels, the Angel of the Lord, who gave the Law there on Mount Sinai and established the Covenant with the Hebrew people, is the same Angel who was made flesh, the Angel of God, the Angel of the Covenant, and He was known by the Name of Jesus Christ; the Angel of the Covenant who was promised in Malachi chapter 3 verse 1 to 2.
And that is why in Jesus’ last Supper with His disciples He tells them, taking the bread and giving thanks to the Father, and breaking it and giving it to them, He says: “Eat, this is My Body.” And then, taking the cup of wine and giving thanks to the Father, He says: “Drink ye all of it, for this is My Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many. This is for the remission of sins.”7
There He is showing that He is going to establish the New Covenant; because He is the Angel of the Covenant who came in human flesh to establish the New Covenant, which millions of human beings have been entering into by receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior.
Remember that He said: “I have come in My Father’s Name.” Because the Angel of the Covenant comes in the Name of God, because the Name of God is in the Angel of the Covenant.
Now we can see that the Angel of the Covenant is the Lord Jesus Christ, who was made flesh and dwelt among the Hebrew people; and He was Emmanuel: God with us. He is the same One who later came down in Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost and has remained in the midst of His Church during these two thousand years that have passed, and He continues to be in the midst of His Church according to the Divine Program, who will also be speaking to us at this end time; and therefore we will be hearing His Voice, just as it happened in each of the past ages.
And now, continuing with the passage from pages 155 and 156 of The Ages, it says:
“‘He that hath an ear, let him (singular) hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.’ Notice here that Jesus (by the Spirit) in EVERY age addresses Himself to ONLY ONE person relative to the Word for that age. Only ONE messenger for each age receives what the Spirit has to say to that age, and that ONE MESSENGER is the messenger to the true church. He speaks for God by revelation to the ‘churches’, both true and false. The message is then broadcast to all. But though it is broadcast for all who come within range of the message, that message is received individually by only a certain qualified group in a certain way. Each individual of that group is one who has the ability to hear what the Spirit is saying by way of the messenger. Those who hear are not getting their own private revelation, nor is a group getting their collective revelation, BUT EACH PERSON IS HEARING AND RECEIVING WHAT THE MESSENGER HAS ALREADY RECEIVED FROM GOD.”
There we have the order to hear the Voice of God in each age. On page 156, it says:
“How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice which is the voice of God. Paul warned them to say what he said, even as Peter did likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of what he had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His messengers, and then say what has been given them to say to the churches.”
And page 241 says:
“As we have already stated, Jesus identifies Himself with the messengers of each age. They receive from Him the revelation on the Word for each period. This Word revelation brings the elect of God out of the world and into full union with Jesus Christ. These messengers are called stars because they shine with a borrowed or reflected light of the Son, even Jesus. They are also called stars because they are ‘holders of light’ at night. Thus in the darkness of sin, they bring the light of God to His people.”
And on page 209 of the book of The Ages, it says:
“Now since each of these messages is directed to the ‘angel’ — (human messenger) a very great responsibility as well as a wonderful privilege is his lot. To these men God makes special promises, as in the case of the twelve apostles sitting on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Then, remember Paul was given a special promise: that of presenting the people of the bride in his day to Jesus.”
This promise is for each messenger pertaining to each age; he is to present the group of his age, to present them to Christ. It is through the messenger of each age that Christ in Holy Spirit reveals His Message to him for that time; and then He uses that same messenger anointed with the Holy Spirit to speak that Message to the people, and thus, each age is born.
Different ages have passed, where Christ through His Spirit has been cutting out those living stones, those believers who would form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; each one, each individual, in the age that pertains to them.
Seven stages of the Gentile Church or among the Gentiles have already passed, and now we are entering into the stage of the Cornerstone; where, by His Spirit, He cuts out the living stones which will form that stage of the Church, the stage of the Cornerstone, which is the most important stage of all the ages, of all the stages, because it is the stage that crowns and with which Christ crowns His Church.
That is the stage we are given to live in. That is the stage for which there is the promise of a Third Pull that is to be manifested in a Great Tent Cathedral. Therefore, the sign of the wonders that will take place in that manifestation of the Third Pull, from God in all His fullness, will have a Voice: which is God’s Last Message, which is the Seven Thunders, the Voice of Christ speaking as Lion of the Tribe of Judah to His Church, and thus, giving Her the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
In that stage is where the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will receive the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ to His Church. That is the stage parallel to the First Coming of Christ.
That stage is the most glorious of all the stages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, because it is the stage where the Church will receive the faith for us to go with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
It is the stage in which Christ will come in His Second Coming and He will manifest Himself in all His fullness. Therefore, it is the most glorious stage of all the stages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And it is a great privilege to live at the time pertaining to that stage of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where He will fulfill all the promises He has made to His Church.
We have great promises in the Scriptures, to be fulfilled at this end time.
It is promised that Christ will manifest Himself in all His fullness in the midst of His Church, and the Jews will know Him. Here, on page 33, paragraphs 252 and 253 of this booklet or message “The Feast Of The Trumpets,” preached on July 19, 1964, it says8:
“[252] This will be the Trumpet; the feast, be rejected, then their Messiah made known.
253 Notice, they’ll,” (meaning, the Jews will), “know their Messiah when they see Him. He is coming in power, this time, the One they looked for. He is coming in power, for the Gentile Bride, and the Jews are going to recognize Him.”
In other words, the manifestation of Christ at the Last Day, in the fulfillment of that Third Pull, in which He will manifest Himself in all His fullness in the fulfillment of the Tent vision, the Jews will see that manifestation and say: “Well, this is the One we are waiting for!”
Israel is waiting for the Coming of the Messiah; and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is also waiting for the Coming of the Lord. Since the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is in the New Covenant, which is in effect, He will come to the Church at this end time.
Next Sunday we will continue speaking about “THE VOICE OF THE SIGN IN EACH TIME.” We had a brief overview on this occasion. On Sunday (the day after tomorrow) we will continue speaking about “THE VOICE OF THE SIGN IN EACH TIME;” because we want to stay informed, by hearing THE VOICE OF THE SIGN.
Because it is the Voice of Christ at the Last Day, crying as when a lion roars and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices, and making known to us the mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery because of which there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour in Revelation chapter 8, verse 1. That mystery is the mystery of the Coming of the Lord. That is the mystery that will give the believers in Christ the faith to be changed and raptured at the Last Day. That is the Voice of Christ crying as when a lion roars and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices.
That Voice of Christ crying as a lion and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices, is the Voice of Jesus Christ at the Last Day for the Age of the Cornerstone, the Golden Age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that Voice is the One that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be listening to, and we will also be seeing the signs that are promised to be manifested in the midst of the Church at the Last Day.
“THE VOICE OF THE SIGN.” That is the Voice of Christ at the Last Day. “He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”9
It has been a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, ministers present and ministers who are in different countries, and your congregations.
May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and also upon me, and may He keep our soul, our heart, open to hear the Voice of Christ at the Last Day and may the faith of Christ be born in all His fullness in our hearts, in our souls; and soon may we all have the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
See you next Sunday, God willing, since I will continue to be with you almost the entire month; in other words, I have more Sundays left to be with you.
May God bless you and keep you all, and I leave Rev. José Benjamín Pérez with you to continue and conclude.
See you next Sunday, God willing, when I will be with you here; and pray a lot for next Sunday’s subject, which will be a continuation of today’s subject, where we hope that what we have heard today serves as a foundation to understand more clearly what we will be speaking about next Sunday.
May God bless you all and keep you, and continue having a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
