The Works of Jesus Upon Entering Jerusalem

Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present, and for those who are in different nations. May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and also upon me. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Well, let’s search for Saint Matthew, chapter 21, verse 1 and on:

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.”

THE WORKS OF JESUS UPON ENTERING JERUSALEM.” That is the subject for this occasion.

On this occasion Jesus knew that He was not going to be received neither by the government nor by the religion or Council of the Sanhedrin, the leaders of Judaism, the leaders of the religion of Israel. He entered as King, which is also a type and figure of His Second Coming, that is, of the Coming of the Messiah at the Last Day; there we have the type and figure.

We find that the things that He did in His entry into Jerusalem, one of them was to cast the merchants out of the temple, to cleanse the house of God; then the rest. We have parables like the parable of the barren fig tree.1 We have a showdown or challenge, when there was that challenge of Jesus’ authority, when they ask Him: “By what authority do You do these things?” He had authority to do it, because He was Emmanuel, God with us. And then He says: “The zeal of My house has eaten me up,” or “the zeal of Thine house,”2 of the House of God; for it was the House of the God who was incarnated in the Person of Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us.

We also find the parable of the two sons;3 we also find the parable of the vineyard, of a vineyard that was planted; we also find the parable of the wedding feast, in chapter 22 of Saint Matthew; we also find the answer that Jesus gives the Herodians, regarding the tribute to Caesar, where Jesus tells them: “Give Caesar the things which are Caesar’s,”4 meaning, the tributes, the contributions; and that also covers all people, to give your country’s government what is theirs, the tributes, the contributions, paying taxes; and to give God what is God’s.

In terms of money: the offerings to God, the tithes, the contributions, the support for the Work of God; and spiritually: the time allocated to serve God. And above all, give your heart to God, so that He may dwell in it. And make room for the Word of God in your heart, which is a seed; and when it is sown in the heart, and the person doesn’t let the enemy tear it out of there… because if he lets him tear it out; that person becomes the person represented in a ground where he – where the seed fell and the devil came and tore out what had been sown in the heart: the ground by the wayside.5

And also be careful to bring forth fruit, because he who doesn’t bring forth fruit, the tree that doesn’t bring forth good fruit, will be cut down and cast into the fire.6

And the ones who were sown among thorns, are the ones where the Word is sown but the cares of the time in which they live choke that Word, and It doesn’t bring forth fruit. And the Word is the seed that must bring forth the fruit, in other words, produce the fruit; therefore, It must be cared for, watered, protected, to materialize what that Word says It has and will do. And thus God’s promises will become a reality in the person.

And the one who was sown into good ground is he who hears and understands the Word, and brings forth fruit a hundredfold, sixtyfold, and thirtyfold; that is the good ground, those are the elect, the wise virgins of the parable of the ten virgins.7

We also have Jesus’ answer to the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection. Also chapter 22, verse 23 and on, says [Matthew]:

The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

Likewise the second also,” (in other words, the second died), “and the third, unto the seventh.

And last of all the woman died also.

Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”

Now notice the teaching that Christ gives, of how it will be when the believers in Christ rise and those who are alive are transformed. Won’t there be any more getting married to have children? No. There will be a change for God’s sons and daughters who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. They will be like the angels, who neither marry nor are given in marriage. In other words, it shows us something very important there.

But as touching the resurrection,” (because they, the Sadducees, didn’t believe in the resurrection), “of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?” (This was in chapter 3 of Exodus, when He spoke to Moses and said to him: ‘I am the God of thy father,” {He tells Moses}, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob,’) “God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

And He shows them that the believer does not die but instead is alive when his body dies, he is in Paradise; and the believer will live eternally, and he will be given a physical body so that he can live physically on this planet Earth.

And although on the news it appears that a certain problem is looming there in a state in North America, on Yellowstone Mountain, where a gas is being emitted (I think it’s helium), and it’s a sign that the volcano there, which is there, might erupt; and it seems to be the biggest in the world; and if it starts to erupt, the global catastrophe will be great; millions of human beings would die.

But we have a promise from God, an invitation to a supper: the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Therefore, even if there is hard, sad news, on Earth, there is good news from Heaven: An invitation from God to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

This is why Revelation chapter 19, verse 9 to 10, says that blessed are those who are called bidden, invited, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. I was bidden, and I accepted the invitation. And who else? Each one of you too.

Remember that this is also connected to the parable of the master of the house, of a king who prepared a great supper and sent people to seek the ones who were bidden, but they didn’t want to go; and then he sent his servant, who is the Holy Spirit, to seek everyone, good and bad.8

That is why through the Gospel of Christ the preaching is carried out, by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, calling, inviting to receive Christ as Savior; and thus also accepting the invitation to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; because those are the people who will be in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

We also have, when the Pharisees ask Jesus, upon hearing that He answered the Herodians correctly… because the Pharisees do believe in the resurrection, the Sadducees do not; the Sadducees don’t believe in an angel or angels, nor do they believe in the resurrection; but the Pharisees do believe in angels, they believe in an angel and they believe in the resurrection.

Jesus said, referring to the believers in Him, that: “It is not the will of our Father which is in Heaven (or of My Father which is in Heaven), that one of these little ones should perish.” He said: “Because their angels behold the face of My Father every day.”9 Their angels. It’s because every believer in Christ has his angel, has an angel, his heavenly body; just like God has His Angel, His heavenly body, which is the Angel of the Covenant, Christ in His heavenly body; that is the image of God. And the image of the person is the person’s spirit, his heavenly body, his spiritual body.

And the Pharisees ask Him, to tempt Him they ask Him:

[Matthew 22:36] “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.”

See? Comprehensive love for God.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

In other words, the two greatest commandments are about love; because love is the greatest thing. And that is why the First Coming of Christ was the greatest manifestation of God’s love.

[John 3:16] “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The manifestation of love is always to bless and a blessing to whomever love has been projected.

Then the Pharisees question, or Jesus questions the Pharisees. The Pharisees had asked Him which was the main commandment and He answers them which is the first one, and tells them the second one (in other words, they didn’t have to ask Him: “And which is the second one?” He answered them there too), but now Jesus is going to question them:

While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou (on My right side, in other words) on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.”

No more inquirers; because they would ask Him to tempt Him; it wasn’t that they wanted to know, it was that they wanted to find fault in the teaching that He gave.

And in chapter 23, it speaks about… it shows the characteristics of a Pharisee, and Jesus also pronounces seven woes upon the Pharisees. For example, chapter 23, verse 13, says [Matthew]:

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”

And there are seven woes, seven times He mentions the scribes and the Pharisees, telling them the woes for them. And then He speaks to them about the coming judgment. Chapter 23, verse 34 and on, says:

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes…”

In other words, Christ says that He will send prophets, wise men, scribes; and this is under the New Covenant. Therefore, where will they be? In the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11, it says that God has placed in His Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers – pastors and teachers.

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city…”

Those were the persecutions that they carried out against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Israel, in those times of the apostles and after them too. Even Paul went with letters from the high priest, in search of the believers in Christ there in Damascus.10 He says:

That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.”

In other words, God would avenge the blood of all these people whom Israel, the Pharisees and Sadducees, had killed, and He included the blood of Abel as well.

Then… And of course, later on it also includes the blood of John the Baptist, the Blood of Jesus, the blood of the apostles, the blood of thousands of believers in Christ; of ministers, prophets, evangelists, pastors and all those things. That is one of the biggest reasons why Jerusalem was destroyed, the temple was destroyed; and currently there is no temple on the Temple Mount where Solomon’s temple was, except for a Muslim temple, that is, the current temple of “the Rock,” not a Jewish one.

Then we also find that when Christ had been brought before Pilate, and Pilate wanted to set Him free because he said: “I find no fault in Him”, and even Pilate’s wife came to Pilate and says to him: “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have been tormented a lot in dreams because of Him.”11

And Pilate tried to release Him, because on… and for Passover they would release a prisoner that the people wanted, that the people chose, and at the request of the people Pilate would set him free; it didn’t matter why he had been imprisoned.

And there were two important prisoners: Barabbas and Jesus. And Pilate wanted to release Jesus. And he asks: “Who should I release? Who should I set free? Jesus or Barabbas? Which one do you want me to set free: Barabbas or Jesus?” And they asked for Barabbas.

Pilate says: “And what shall I do with Jesus?”

They tell him: “Crucify Him!”

Pilate says: “Shall I crucify your king?”

They say: “We have no king.”

Remember that He entered Jerusalem as King in His triumphal entrance, and those who followed him had proclaimed Him King. They said “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! Blessed be the Son of David!”

And they say “We have no king but Caesar.” That was the king whom they recognized as their king.

And that has caused Israel a lot of problems, because they themselves chose a pagan king. And the words of Christ on one occasion: “I have come in My Father’s Name, and you receive Me not; when another comes in his own name, him you will receive.”12 And the one who will come in his own name will be the antichrist. That has also caused Israel problems.

But despite that, Israel is still—as a nation, as a people—the people of God; as a nation, as a people, the firstborn son of God; the model people for other peoples. And whoever treats Israel well, will be blessed by God; whoever treats Israel badly, will have problems with God.

God blinded His own people, His firstborn-son people whom He delivered from bondage in Egypt. Remember that in chapter 4, verse 22 to 23, of Exodus, it says: “Israel is my son, even my firstborn.”

It is a people that has promises of great blessings; they prosper where there is no prosperity; they prosper in agriculture where there is no agricultural land, and God gives them wisdom to work the agriculture and produce quality, quality fruit.

God blinded Israel in order to redeem them and to redeem His Church: the firstborn written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, who are firstborn as individuals, and who are the ones that form the Church of God’s firstborn under the New Covenant, they form the Bride-Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now let’s turn to chapter 23… or I will continue in chapter 23, verses 37 to 39.

We already saw that He was not received as King even though He was proclaimed by His followers as King; but the people, the nation as a nation, did not receive Him, nor did the religious leaders; but it was prophesied that everything would be this way. That is why God has mercy on Israel, and that is why Jesus said: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”13

Chapter 23, verses 37 to 39, here is a prophecy that will be fulfilled at this end time, regarding the Coming of the Messiah; and it is connected to Israel [Matthew]:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Behold, your (habitation) is left unto you desolate,” (He is prophesying, making known to them, what will happen to Jerusalem).

For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”

In other words, the prophecy is going to be repeated; but this is under a New Covenant; and that is the mystery of the Seventh Seal: the mystery of the Coming of the Messiah for the end time, which to Christianity is the Second Coming of Christ; to the Jews: the Coming of the promised Messiah.

It is the mystery for which there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour in Revelation chapter 8, verse 1; it is the mystery of which Christ said that not even the angels in Heaven knew. On one occasion He said: “Not even the Son knows when the day and the hour will be.”14 But once He died, was buried, and resurrected glorified, from that point on He already knew when it would be, when the day and the hour of the Coming of the Son of Man would be at the Last Day.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for His Coming as ‘the Second Coming of Christ;’ the Jews are waiting for the Coming of the Messiah as ‘the First Coming,’ because they didn’t realize that He came two thousand years ago.

In the book of Quotations of Rev. William Branham, or of quotes of messages of William Branham, or excerpts of messages of Rev. William Branham, on page 155, paragraph 1383, it says [65-0725E – “What Is The Attraction On The Mountain?” p. 19, para. 119]:

1383 119 Oh, there will be a true former and latter rain in the last days upon that little group that come with Him on this little donkey, low and humble, no don-…or denomination, crying, ‘Hosanna to the King that comes in the Name of the Lord!’”

That is what Christ spoke of when He said: “You shall not see Me until you shall say: Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the Lord.” That is His Second Coming, which the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for, as Philippians chapter 3, verses 20 to 21, says:

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

That is the purpose of His Coming to His Church: to transform our bodies, those of us who are alive at that time, and to come with the believers who died physically, and to resurrect them in eternal bodies, glorified bodies.

That is the mighty Army of Christ: the believers who already died and are in Paradise in heavenly bodies, who will come with Him in His Second Coming, and the living who will join Him upon being transformed, they will join the group who will resurrect in eternal bodies.

This Former and Latter Rain is promised to come. God will send Former and Latter Rain to the Earth. The Scripture tells us in chapter 2, verse 23, it says [Joel]:

Be glad then, ye children of Zion,” (under the New Covenant, the spiritual Zion is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ), “and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.”

Former and Latter Rain of the Holy Spirit, to give us the spiritual Water for the soul.

From age to age He has given the believers in Christ the spiritual Food through the Word and the Spirit; a revival of the Spirit has come to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, from age to age, from stage to stage.

The previous revival was in the seventh age, in the Pentecostal Age, where Rev. William Branham had a powerful ministry from God, where the Spirit of God moved in the midst of Christianity; and under Rev. William Branham’s ministry God poured out a great revival upon Christianity.

On page 166 of the book of Quotations in Spanish, in this version, in paragraph 1485, it says [65-1128M – “God’s Only Provided Place Of Worship,” p. 1, para. 6]:

1485 6 Now, there’s…I was…getting pretty old, and I thought, ‘Will I…Will there be another revival, I’ll see another time?’”

In other words, another revival like the one there was from age to age when the Holy Spirit sent each messenger, anointed each messenger, and through each messenger manifested Himself and brought an awakening, a spiritual revival in the midst of Christianity. And he asks himself: “Will there be another one? Will there be another revival?” He is speaking here in ‘65, in 1965, on the 11th month, November, on the 28th day; and the following month was his departure. “Will there be another revival?” The question. Let’s see the answer:

1485 “[6] And just remember, from the west will come a white horse rider,” (so, from where will the revival come? From the West). We’ll ride this trail again.”

For that new revival, spiritual awakening in the midst of Christianity, a white-horse Rider will come from the West. And when a horse is mentioned, that refers to a power; because a beast represents a power.

1485 “[6] We’ll ride this trail again.”

In other words, the ministry of Elijah operated by the Holy Spirit in Elijah the Tishbite, rode the trail for the second time in Elisha, with a double portion; and it rode the trail again for the third time, the ministerial trail, in John the Baptist; and it rode the trail for the fourth time in Rev. William Branham; and Rev. William Branham says: “We’ll ride again.”

The ministry of Elijah will be on Earth being operated by the Holy Spirit for the fifth time. Because the ministry of Elijah is the ministry of one of the Two Olive Trees of Revelation 11, and Zechariah chapter 4, verses 11 to 14. And the Two Olive Trees are the Two Anointed Ones that stand before the Presence of God.

1485 “[6] That’s right. Soon as,” (and the [Spanish] translation isn’t very good here), “we get ready. It’s a promise, you see.”

The ministry of Elijah will be ridden for the fifth time together with the ministry of Moses. That is why Rev. William Branham says that the miracles are under Moses and Elijah. And to the Church, it is the Coming of the Lord. Page 136, paragraph 1208, says (to avoid reading too much, I’m going to read the answer) [64-0823M – “Questions And Answers #1,” p. 42, paras. 197-198]:

1208 197 Now, latter rain, a hundred and forty-four thousand Jews, no, that isn’t…that…they won’t…that’s—that’s when Elijah and Moses…There’s where the miracles take place. The things that the people’s been looking for, the Pentecostals, for miracles, that’s where that’ll take place in that, under them. See, that’s Elijah’s and Moses’. (…)

198 We’re just to wait on the Coming of the Lord. Just wait; keep your lamps trimmed, all filled full of oil. Pray up every hour, not every day, every hour. Just keep ready; be ready, be sweet, and watching…

In other words, be prepared, ready, for the Coming of the Lord; and, of course, to see Him, be transformed and taken with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

And here it seems like one loses sight of the big picture, but we can get the big picture again when he says… have a clear picture when he says, on page 129, paragraph 1150, he says [64-0719M – “The Feast Of The Trumpets,” p. 35, para. 270]:

1150 “[270] Now, as soon as this Church (the Bride) is drawed together, She is taken up; and that mystery of the Seventh Seal, or the Seventh Seal, the mystery of going. And the Jews is called by the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet, which is two prophets, Elijah and Moses, and they come back. And there is where the Pentecostals is all mixed up; they’re looking for something to happen; the Church is done gone. And that’s to the Jews.

And here we still haven’t gotten the whole picture yet, but now we are going to see it clearly. Page 130, paragraph 1164 says [64-0726E – “Broken Cisterns,” p. 30, para. 158]:

1164 “[158] Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’”

See? “And that last Trumpet,” (in other words, the seventh), “like the Seventh Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord.”

And now let’s go to page 149, paragraph 1333 says [64-0726E – “Broken Cisterns,” p. 30, para. 158]:

1333 “[158] Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’ Just resting till that time.

Now, he tells us:

1333 “[158] And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be,” (what?) “the Coming of the Lord.”

It’s because the Son of Man comes with what? With His Angels. And those are the ministries of the Angels who call and gather the elect of the Jews, 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.

Page 533 says, on page 533, starting from there, it says [The Seals]:

173 This time was between the Sixth and Seventh Seal, that He calls these people, spoken of by Jesus in Matthew the 24th chapter and the 31st verse, that we’ve just read, see. Trumpets here, the two witnesses of the…When the trumpet sounds, is the trumpet of the two witnesses of the age of grace for the Jews. One trumpet sound, you notice, one trumpet sound. He said He’d sound the trumpet. Now notice over here, 31st. And he shall send forth his angels (not one, see; there’s two of them) with a great sound of a trumpet,…

174 What is it? When God gets ready to speak, there’s a sound of a trumpet. That’s always His Voice. It’s calling to battle, see. God speaks. These angels will come forth with the sounding of the trumpet.

175 And did you notice, at the last angel’s Message, the trumpet sounds. The first angel’s message, a trumpet sound; second angel’s, a trumpet sounded, when He sent it out. Notice, but when the Seals were announced, they were all in one great, Divine thing, to call out a group of people; there was one trumpet sound, and Seven Seals were broke.

176 Notice, “Gather His elected Jews from the four parts of the heavens.”

Now we can see that there is a connection between the Coming of the Lord and between the Two Olive Trees and between the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Last Day and the Jews. Just as the sun, Christ, who came out in the East, just as the literal sun comes out in the East and sets in the West, likewise, we find that Christ being the Sun of Righteousness, the Light of the world, came forth in the East, the land of Israel, the Middle East; and He has journeyed from Israel to Asia Minor among the Gentiles, to Europe in five ages, stages, and then He goes to North America for the seventh stage of His Church.

The West pertains to the continent of the Americas, which is made up of North America, the Caribbean, and Latin America, and the other Latin American countries. The West is where the sun sets, the West is where the last part or last stage of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will take place.

Whenever there is a stage, a spiritual awakening, a spiritual revival, it then spreads from there to other nations.

The spiritual revival that Rev. William Branham says will be brought by that Rider who comes on a white horse, on a power, which is the power of the creative Word, the Word of God, the Word; we find that that revival will also impact Israel.

And that will be the fulfillment of the Third Pull, which Rev. William Branham says will be for the Bride (the ones who will be transformed, meaning, the wise virgins); the foolish virgins (meaning, believers, but who didn’t have the Oil, the Holy Spirit, professing believers); and the world. Israel will see that manifestation and say: “This is the One we are waiting for!” But He comes for His Church. That is what Rev. William Branham says here on page 70 of the book of The Seals, he says:

[29] …I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow…upon his head,…

And now, He comes clothed with a cloud. It is the Bright Cloud, the Pillar of Fire that appeared to Moses in a bush that burned and didn’t get consumed, it wasn’t consumed (chapter 3 of Exodus.)

30 If you notice, that’s Christ, see. Cause, He, in the Old Testament, was called the Angel of the Covenant. And He is directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished,” (now, he says: ‘He is directly coming {to whom?} to the Jews.’) “See? All right.

and his face…as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

31 You remember that Angel in Revelation 1? Same thing. Angel is a ‘messenger.’ And He’s the Messenger to Israel. See? The Church has been raptured, see, now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church.

Now, the Messenger to Israel comes for the Church: it is Christ in His Coming, to resurrect the dead who come with Him in His Coming, to resurrect them in glorified bodies; and to transform the living believers in Christ; and to take them with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Here lies the entire mystery of the Second Coming of Christ; but we can’t speak a lot about this mystery, because that mystery will be opened according to the Vision that Rev. William Branham had under the Third Pull, which he mentions is a stage of Divine manifestation, and which will be carried out in a Great Tent Cathedral that was shown to him, where the Presence of that Pillar of Fire, of Light, will be present, the Angel who accompanied him will be present; and therefore, Rev. William Branham also says that he came down… because he was up high, in other words, standing in the air, seeing everything that was happening in that Great Tent Cathedral: the preaching, the altar call, the people converting to Christ, and then there was also prayer for the sick; and he saw everything that was happening there. It was a manifestation of God through His Spirit in that Third Pull, of that revival that is promised for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end time.

Therefore, it is important for us to be aware of, to know these things. Notice what Rev. William Branham says the Jews will say: Page 22, paragraph 176 [Quotations] [57-1006 – “Questions And Answers On Hebrews #3,” p. 26, paras. 729-734]:

176 “[729] And there’s them two witnesses,” (meaning, the Two Olive Trees, the ministries of Moses and Elijah).

730 And when they tormented the church, or the world, by their preaching; and receiving back the Jews, and bringing them back to repentance, bringing them back to believe on…When they see Jesus coming for the Bride, they’ll say, “Lo, this is our God Who we waited on. That’s Him!” But He’s not coming for them; He come for His Bride…

And further down he says again:

176 734 When the Lord Jesus shall come for His Bride, and they see Him, they’ll say, ‘That’s the One we’ve waited on, there He is!’ He’ll rise with healing in His wings.

This is what is related to the Second Coming of Christ, where Israel will have a spiritual awakening, a spiritual revival. God will pour out of His Spirit upon all those Hebrew elect, 144,000, 12,000 of each tribe.

It is a Divine promise, which Christ spoke of when He said:

[Matthew 24:31] “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Those elect are the 144,000 Hebrews.

And there is a gathering at this end time for the believers in Christ, and they will be gathered to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. But the 144,000 won’t be transformed nor will they be raptured to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, rather they will go through the Great Tribulation and they will be martyred, they will die in the Great Tribulation; but at the end of the Great Tribulation they will be resurrected to be in the Millennium Kingdom of Christ, with Christ and His Church.

THE WORK OF JESUS UPON ENTERING JERUSALEM.”

Every year, and many times during the year, we remember that entrance of Christ into Jerusalem; and this way we won’t forget that very important event, which should serve as a lesson to not make the same mistake that was made in the First Coming of Christ when they rejected Him. And Christianity should know of this part of history so that they don’t make the same mistake that Israel made two thousand years ago.

Rev. William Branham said that the Coming of the Lord will be simple; therefore, we expect something simple to human eyes, but great in the sight of God. And it will be God fulfilling what He promised to carry out at this end time.

This is how we will recognize Him: by Him fulfilling each one of the promises that He made for this end time for His Church, and then for the Hebrew people. No one else will be able to fulfill those promises, of the things that it has been spoken that Christ in His Second Coming will carry out.

That was why Christ said: “Watch.” Watch for what? For the Coming of the Lord at the relevant time.

The people of God must always be watching for the Coming of the Lord, so that It doesn’t go over their heads like It did two thousand years ago for the people of that time. Because whoever misses It: loses the blessing that Christ has for His people for this end time.

In the works that Christ did when He entered into Jerusalem, He showed who He was by the works. He said: “If you do not believe in Me, believe in the works; because they bear witness of Me.”

What were the Works that He was doing? To fulfill. Fulfilling what God had promised that the Messiah would do in His First Coming. Those works were the ones that bore witness of who He was.

This is why He said: “Search the Scriptures; because they testify of Me.” They are…:

[John 5:39] “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

Therefore, the Scriptures being fulfilled under the ministry of Jesus testified that Jesus was the Messiah; because no one else could fulfill those Scriptures. It was God in and through Jesus fulfilling His promised Word, His promises for that time; that is how it will be at this end time.

Therefore: “Watch and pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things,” (Divine judgments that will fall upon the Earth, in the Great Tribulation), “and to stand before the Son of Man,” (to stand before the Lord in His Coming at the end time).15

Everything will be simple. We will see Him fulfilling what He promised to carry out at this end time; we will see Him sounding, blowing the Last Trumpet; we will see Him opening the mystery of the Seventh Seal; we will see Him fulfilling every promise that He has made for this end time; and then we will see Him transforming us all at this end time: that will be the greatest sign.

But before that, we have to believe all the promises that have been made for God to fulfill at this time, and to see them as they are being fulfilled.

Remember that Christ opened their understanding so that they understood, what? The Scriptures. He opened the Scriptures to them and He opened their understanding so that they could understand.

May God open the Scriptures to us at this end time, and may He also open our understanding so that we understand them, and our heart (our soul) to receive them and believe them with all our heart.

THE WORK OF JESUS UPON ENTERING JERUSALEM.”

There is the earthly Jerusalem, but there is also the heavenly Jerusalem; there is the earthly Zion and there is the spiritual Zion, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and let’s leave it at that, because in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (where He has promised to come in His Second Coming) is where we will be seeing Him fulfill what He has promised.

The promise is that He will come and transform our mortal bodies into incorruptible bodies: Philippians chapter 3, verses 20 to 21; First Thessalonians chapter 4, verses 11 to *18; First Corinthians chapter 15, verses 49 to 58; Romans chapter 8, verses 14 to 39, as well, which speaks to us about the redemption, the redemption of the body; in other words, the adoption, the redemption of the body; where, upon redeeming our bodies, we will have a new, glorified body.

That is why those who receive Him as Savior, He baptizes them with the Holy Ghost and with Fire; and they are sealed with the Seal of the living God, the Seal of the Holy Spirit. It says: “Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.” In other words, until the day in which we will be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 30. And Ephesians chapter 1, verses 10 to 14, as well.

So, we have great and wonderful promises for this end time, which Christ in His Coming will be fulfilling, just as He fulfilled His promise – His promises for each stage of His Church.

Therefore, when we ask ourselves: “What will Christ be doing when He comes for His Church?” What He will be doing is what He said, what He promised that He will do.

The promises made that He will fulfill in His Coming, will be the Works that He will be carrying out; just as the works that He carried out back then, two thousand years ago, were the ones that were promised for His First Coming.

And He said to His disciples: “Blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For many prophets and righteous men desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.”16 They were seeing the Messiah speaking to them; they were seeing and hearing the Messiah speaking to them the Word promised for that time, and showing them what He would carry out in order to carry out the redemption of Israel and the redemption of His Church.

Therefore, at the Last Day is when Israel will see Him, and say: “This is the One we are waiting for!” because He will come as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, according to Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 to 21, and Revelation chapter 22, verse 16, which says:

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

Therefore, He comes as the Lion, as it is shown in Revelation 5, when the elder says to John: “John, weep not. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who has prevailed to open the Book and to loose the seven Seals thereof, to take the Book and loose Its seven Seals.” That is what He will do in Heaven. And then in Revelation chapter 10 He brings It to Earth, to His Church, giving It to an instrument, to the instrument that He has, so that he makes It known to His Church. And we will stop there, because it’s best not to open this mystery any further.

“THE WORK OF JESUS UPON ENTERING JERUSALEM.”

We have seen the Work that He carried out, the works that He carried out, and the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross, which was the greatest thing that Christ carried out in His First Coming.

Continue having a happy afternoon, filled with the blessings of Christ; and a happy week, this Holy Week, the Great Week, the most important week of all.

May God bless you greatly and keep you, open the Scriptures to you, and open your understanding and your heart so that you understand and believe the Word of God for this time in which we have been given to live.

May God bless you and keep you. And I leave Rev. José Benjamín Pérez with you; and the corresponding minister in each nation.
