Good evening, beloved friends and brothers and sisters present, and for everyone in different countries tonight for the introduction of the subject we will have for next Sunday’s Bible school.
It is a great blessing and privilege for me to be here with you on this occasion after a couple of long days without being here with you. It is a great blessing to be with you once again. May God bless every one of you greatly and use you greatly here in Maracaibo, and everyone who is viewing through the internet or the Amazonas satellite.
On this occasion we will read Second of Kings, chapter 2, verses 8 and on, where it tells:
“And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
And he (Elijah) said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.”
Let us take the words from verse 14 that says: “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?”
“WHERE IS THE GOD OF ELIJAH TODAY?” That is the question that comes to our mind nowadays.
It is important where the God of Elijah was in the past; and what benefits us the most is to know where He is in this time in which we are allotted to live in.
The God of Elijah is the God creator of the Heavens and the Earth, the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob, who made a Covenant with Abraham and his seed, and who appeared to the prophets since Adam and on: on some occasions He was seen by the men of God in a visible body, in a heavenly body, and was called by them the Angel of the Covenant or Angel of the Lord or Holy Spirit; because a spirit is a body from another dimension.
He would also appear in a Light, in which He appeared to Moses on Mount Sinai, Mount Horeb, and said to him: “I am the God of thy father (in other words, Amram) the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” (Exodus, chapter 3, verses 1 to 16.) Moses wanted to know what the Name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was; and the Name was revealed to Moses there.
That Almighty God that appeared in the form of light and in a form of a man, of an angel, who also appeared to Joshua as a military chief commander, is none other than the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, who then became flesh and dwelt among the human beings, and He was known by the Name of Jesus Christ; who died on Calvary’s Cross when He took the sins of the human being and becoming sin for us, and therefore to die, because the wages of sin is death.
He died for all of us. The time for the human race to die and disappear had come; but He came to save the world by dying on Calvary’s Cross. Thanks to His death on Calvary’s Cross, there is human life exists Earth.
The same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob from the Old Testament is the very own Jesus Christ of the New Testament, who became flesh and lived among the human beings as a human being.
And just as the God of Elijah had been in the different prophets since Adam up until John the Baptist, and then in Jesus, in all His fullness in Jesus; and after dwelling in Elijah He passed on to Elisha, and He passed from age to age and messenger, from prophet to prophet, until He was manifested in all His fullness in Jesus Christ. The God of Elijah was there in the instrument relevant to a new dispensation: the Lord Jesus Christ.
The God of Elijah has always dwelt in the corresponding messenger for each time; because the God of Elijah is the Angel of the Covenant, God in Holy Spirit manifested in a man sent by God for a certain age or certain dispensation; and He has been with the people who is under the Covenant relevant to that time, and has been in the stage or age relevant to that time, and He has been manifested through the Holy Spirit in the corresponding messenger for each age and each dispensation.
Christ Himself said: “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew, chapter 28, verse 20. And Matthew, chapter 18, verse 20 says: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
We are seeing where the God of Elijah said He would be; acknowledging that the God of Elijah by becoming flesh and being manifested in all His fullness in Jesus Christ, the God of Elijah in flesh is the Lord Jesus Christ; and He has been with His Church from stage to stage, in the messenger of each age, speaking to His Church, guiding His Church, blessing His Church, teaching His Church the Word corresponding to each stage of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and calling and gathering the elect of each stage, of each age of the Church of the Lord.
The ministry of Elijah in Elijah the Tishbite is very outstanding; and then that ministry, which is operated by the Holy Spirit, by Christ in Elijah the Tishbite, passed in a double portion onto Elisha; then we see that the God of Elijah was in Elisha, accompanying him in that stage of the Program of God.
And then for a third occasion we find the God of Elijah operating the ministry of Elijah for a third time in John the Baptist, through whom He foreran the First Coming of Christ.
Christ Himself gave testimony that John the Baptist was the Elijah that had to come at that time preparing the way to the Messiah. “He is that Elijah,” said Christ. That was when He was asked in chapter 17 of Matthew, verses 10 to 13: “Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?” Christ said: “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
In other words, the Holy Spirit had come in John the Baptist operating the ministry of Elijah for the third time.
All of these three manifestations took place under the Covenant that God made with the Hebrew people on Mount Sinai, with the people of the Covenant.
Then we find in the New Testament the Holy Spirit, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, manifested in the midst of His Church; and therefore, we find the God of Elijah in the Church of the New Covenant, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, passing from age to age and from dispensation to dispensation: from the Dispensation of the Law to the Dispensation of Grace; and for the Last Day it will pass from the Dispensation of Grace to the Dispensation of the Kingdom.
The ministerial spirit of Elijah, which is the Holy Spirit operating the ministry of Elijah for the fourth time, we see it in Reverend William Branham, the messenger for the seventh stage or age of the gentile Church represented in the age or church of Laodicea in Asia Minor.
We saw a great manifestation of the ministry of Elijah, of the God of Elijah, manifested in that powerful ministry that was seen in Reverend William Branham. After he departed, the question is: WHERE IS THE GOD OF ELIJAH?
The God of Elijah still continues in the midst of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and the God of Elijah will return to the Jews, because there was a pause in the Dispensation of the Law, in the seventieth week, wherein the first three and a half years of the seventieth week of the prophecy of Daniel, chapter 9, that first stage of the three and a half years was fulfilled under the ministry of Jesus Christ, in whom it was; and He is the God of Elijah, Emmanuel: God with us. That is why He was able to say: “The Father and I are one.1” Just as you and I can say: “My soul and I are one.”
Now, the question is: If the God of Elijah came from the Jews to the gentiles, passing from the land of Israel to Asia Minor under the ministry of Saint Paul, in whom the God of Elijah in Holy Spirit was operating that apostolic ministry; and then it passed on to Europe, wherein He manifested five church stages, five ages, and that ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit manifested through five messengers, working in those different ages…; for which, the God of Elijah passed from Israel to Asia Minor, from Asia Minor to Europe, and from Europe to North America: He passed to the American Continent and anointed Reverend William Branham with that prophetic ministry, in whom the God of Elijah was manifested speaking to Christianity, calling and gathering the people during that time.
But after the ministry of the fourth Elijah ends, the ministry of the fifth Elijah remains, wherein the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of Elijah is in His last manifestation among the gentiles, and then among the Hebrew people. And just as the Jews took the Gospel to the gentiles, the gentiles will take the Gospel to the Jews, and the rapture will happen, said Reverend William Branham on page 36 of the book “The Seven Church Ages,” which we will read so that we can have a clear idea as to where the God of Elijah is today.
Page 36 of the book The Ages, says:
“Now, when is the Gospel returning to the Jews? When the day of the Gentiles is finished. The Gospel is ready to go back to the Jews. Oh, if I could just tell you something that is about to happen right in this our day. This great thing that is about to happen will carry over to Revelation 11 and pick up those two witnesses, those two prophets, Moses and Elijah, turning the Gospel back to the Jews.”
And in that manifestation of the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, of the ministries of Moses and Elijah, is where the God of Elijah will be manifesting Himself first in the midst of the gentiles, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the stage of the Most Holy Place of that spiritual Temple; just as it was shown in the temple that Solomon built, in which he built two giant cherubim of olive wood laid with gold in the most holy place and their wings covered the mercy seat.
And therefore, in the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Body of Christ, meaning, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is His spiritual Temple, the God of Elijah will be in the Most Holy Place of that Temple, which is the stage or Golden Age of the Church, the Age of the Cornerstone.
Remember that the most holy place was made of wood covered with gold inside and out, because gold represents Divinity; and in that small place, upon the ark of the covenant, between the two cherubim of gold, we find the God of Elijah in that Pillar of Fire, in that Light, which was the only Light found in the most holy place and which the high priest would see once a year, when he entered with blood of the sacrifice of the atonement.
The most holy place represents the Age of the Cornerstone. That is why Reverend William Branham says on page 32 of the book of Quotations2: “Now, look at the age coming now right up to the… ” Let us see what he said:
311 – “Now, we’re going to have, we got a ministry coming that’s just exactly like the life of Christ. What does that ministry identify? The coming of the Lord.”
Then, further down it says:
“Look at the Lutheran church under justification, coming just so freshly from Catholicism; look at it moving. Then look at Wesley coming a little closer, into sanctification, weaving into the Scriptures. Look at right in between, the Wesley. Then the next thing come in was the Pentecostal age, and the Pentecostal age with the restoration of the gifts, the spiritual gifts. Now, look at the age coming now right up to the Headstone. See what I mean? The coming of the Lord, the made known. God and all creations is waiting for the church to positionally find its place.”
In other words, the Church must find the place that corresponds to her in this time, that stage or age, the Age of the Cornerstone; because there is where the Church ascends in the Last Day to see the manifestation of the God of Elijah promised for the end time.
There, in that Age of the Cornerstone, is where we will see the God of Elijah. And the question “WHERE IS THE GOD OF ELIJAH?” is answered. We saw Him from age to age in the people under the covenant in effect for their time, and we saw Him manifested in the different messengers of each age of the Old Covenant or Testament and New Testament; but now we need to know and see where the God of Elijah should be manifested in the midst of His Church and then in the midst of the Hebrew people.
WHERE IS THE GOD OF ELIJAH? Remember that Elisha had asked for a double portion of the spirit that was in Elijah; and the promise is that at the end time there will be a double portion in the manifestation of the God of Elijah in the midst of the people of the New Covenant, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; wherein the Church will come led by Christ manifested in His Church operating these ministries: the ministry of Elijah for the fifth time…
And in that manifestation it will come like Elisha with a double portion: the spiritual portion of the Spirit of God under the new birth and the physical portion of the glorification of their bodies, the transformation of the body, to cross over Jordan —remember that the Jordan represents death— to pass on to eternity, the Kingdom of God physically, with eternal life, in immortal, glorified bodies, under the manifestation of the double portion of the ministerial spirit that the Holy Spirit operated in Elijah the Tishbite, in Elisha, in John the Baptist and in Reverend William Branham. And the Holy Spirit, Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the God of Elijah will be manifested again for the resurrection of the dead in Christ in glorified bodies and the transformation of those of us who will be alive when the resurrection of the dead in Christ takes place.
Just as Elisha came with a double portion of the spirit that was in Elijah, the Church and the messenger of the end time will come with a double portion: the spiritual portion and the physical portion; with the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God, with the glorification, the transformation, not only spiritually but also physically; which will be the adoption or redemption of the body, the adoption of the sons and daughters of God with spiritual and physical eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
For which, it is important to know where the God of Elijah is, because He will do all these things among the people of the New Covenant, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the age relevant to the end time.
It will not happen in the first age; what there is for the ones of the first age is a resurrection in glorified bodies. It will not be for the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh age, because those ages elapsed. It will be for the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the age we ascend to after the seventh stage or age of the gentile Church.
Just as if we had asked in the first age: “Where is the God of Elijah?” We had to say: “He is in the first age, and He is manifested through Saint Paul, the messenger of the first age for the gentile Church”; and so forth every age with each messenger,. But now the most important thing to know is where He is today, in our time.
We will see this subject in more detail next Sunday, because today it is only the introduction to next Sunday’s biblical subject, titled: “WHERE IS THE GOD OF ELIJAH TODAY?”
If there is someone who has not yet received Christ as Savior and you now want to receive Him in this moment, you may do so, and we will be praying for you, for which you can come to the front and we will praying for you.
Next Sunday I will once again be with you; and those who have not yet received Christ can also receive Him next Sunday, God willing.
